Sketch Frenzy Friday 101912

Happy Friday all! Crazy week here and FAR from over at this point! Looking forward to Open Houses with my stampers this weekend. Not so much to the concession stand I have to work tonight!

Friday means another round of Sketch Frenzy Friday!! Here is my creation

based on this sketch by Sharon Wheet.

I played with the ornaments from Ornament Keepsakes this week in preparing for Open House and decided to go with that for my card today. Colors are Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla as determined by the background DSP from the Be of Good Cheer pack. I cut two Window Frames with the framelit set, one in Cherry Cobbler, the next smaller in Very Vanilla. I pierced the Cherry Cobbler using the coordinating Paper Piercing mat from the Festive Piercing Pack. Onto the windows I attached a Cherry Cobbler ornament. I first stamped this onto Very Vanilla, then cut it in the Big Shot with the coordinating framelit from the Holiday Ornaments set. Around the top of the ornament is a Very Vanilla 1/8" Taffeta ribbon. The ornament is attached with dimensionals to the Windows. The Windows are also attached with dimensionals to the card base. I couldn't make the element on the corner work like Sharon has on the sketch, so I moved it down and made it my saying. This is my favorite Christmas saying in my collection, from the More Merry Messages set.

Thanks for stopping by today!! Stop over at the main SFF blog to see the rest of the teams' creations and to play along!! We LOVE to see your creations!!

Great Christmas card! Love how the ornament takes center stage and is framed by the piercing!
