The NEW Catalog sales start June 1 at Noon Mountain time! Get your list ready!! I'm planning to put an order in that afternoon. If you need something, please let me know! If you're local I will add it on, and if not I can ship direct to you!  I will post a link that day to the PDF version online. If you need a copy, let me know and I'll figure out how to get you one!! :)

One note on new catalog items. The new Daisy punch has been much more popular than was planned and is therefore on backorder. SU! has decided to turn off ordering for it until they can get caught up. More are on the way and expected by the end of June. I will keep you posted!

You've Got This CTD444

The minute I saw this challenge, I knew I'd be playing! This new In Color, Lemon Lime Twist is making me play along! Green anything isn't usually my thing but I REALLY like this one!!

Here is my card

based on this challenge. Color Throwdown 444

Lemon Lime Twist is a lighter shade than the sketch image, but I think it will be OK! Really a quick and easy card because of the stamp set, You've Got This! I've done a few cards before with it, and it doesn't get much easier!  Card base is Lemon Lime Twist, accent layer of Basic Gray. Card background Shimmery White. the background image is stamped in Lemon Lime Twist, flower over that, and saying bottom right in Basic Gray. Ribbon is Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Daisy Thank You!

I was getting catalogs ready to mail out today and thought to myself, I should send a card with these. A few minutes later I was browsing a Demo group on Facebook and found the perfect inspiration. Hint: need to make several cards quick?? Use DSP!! (Designer Series Paper!!)

UPDATE: I just made it back to the stamp room and remembered to check this ribbon. Good news, it isn't retired! It is the NEW 3/8" Mini Chevron ribbon. This one is Crushed Curry, but it also comes in Bermuda Bay and Old Olive!!

Oops! Seems I used a ribbon that is retired! Not sure how I missed that. Actually, I may have "missed" it last year when I purged items. Sorry. I know my recipients won't care but I really try hard to use only current stuff! Guess I haven't gotten to the step where I check that everything in my "current" area is in the new catalog!!

OK. Back to the cards. Using DSP will give you some variety! See the two samples below!!

Basic elements are the same. Paper gives variation!

Stamp set is Daisy Delight. Card base is Daffodil Delight. Old Olive accent layer, Whisper White background with DSP, a sheet from Daisy Delight, layered over. 'Thank You' was stamped at the bottom right corner of the Whisper White in Old Olive. The flowers were punched from sheets of Daffodil Delight. Centers from Old Olive. I stamped the center image in Old Olive on the Old Olive Centers and the stem image in Daffodil Delight on the Daffodil punched flowers. Plain just seemed way too plain! The ribbon is Crushed Curry in color, seems like it might be Seam Binding from a previous catalog. The "flower center" was attached to one flower, then that flower was attached to the second. The whole flower item is attached to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Love it! Thanks for stopping by!! Contact me if any questions!!

Daisy Delight FMS288 CAS223

Woohoo, another card!! You probably shouldn't get used to daily posts, but I am hoping to be more regular!! I've enjoyed my time in the stamp room this weekend and trying my hand at creating again!! This one combines two challenges that I found while browsing Saturday morning. One was a sketch challenge, the other a color. Perfect combination.

Here is my card

based on this sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches

and this color challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches

Daisy Delights is a new set in the upcoming Annual Catalog that we Demonstrators could preorder. The card base is Rich Razzleberry, with a Sahara Sand accent layer and Very Vanilla background. I split the Very Vanilla to give the "line" like in the sketch. I stamped the "thank you" on the bottom and a background combination on the top. The large daisy in Rich Razzleberry, centers of Sahara Sand, small daisy in Sweet Sugarplum, triple small daisy in Sahara Sand, sponged edges of Sahara Sand and background filler sponging with Sweet Sugarplum. Across the strip I placed a 1/2" Very Vanilla Lace Trim ribbon. Finally, a large daisy was stamped on a separate piece of Very Vanilla, punched with the coordinating punch and attached with a Stampin' Dimensional just above the ribbon. A Metal Rimmed Pearl is in the center.

Thanks for stopping by!! Not sure how my week is going to go, but I hope to be back!! Product details are below!!

Blooms & Wishes CTD443

Perfect timing for me last night when this challenge popped up on my Facebook feed. I've mostly not been stamping lately, but the last few days had found time to review my catalogs and sort my room a little so it can be functional. I've been loving the new In Color Lemon Lime Twist and it was the perfect color to try!

Here is my card

based on this challenge from Color Throwdown

What a fun challenge! Great spring colors!  As I mentioned above, I used the new Lemon Lime Twist and added Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight. The set is Blooms & Wishes. I did a large flower in Lemon Lime, then another in Daffodil. The smaller in Turquoise and then the same color centers on each large flower. The "splatter" image is from Touches of Texture and was the perfect fill. In the large flower centers are some Brights Enamel Shapes in Daffodil and Turquoise. And finally, a new ribbon in Lemon Lime Twist! My ribbon skills have gone missing! Had to settle for the "cheater bow" and even that took many tries.

Thanks for stopping by! Detail product listing below.
