My card for this week's Stamping 411 sketch challenge. Here is their sketch:
And here is what I did with it. Still not much creativity here, no time! Such a busy time of year with the end of the school year. My boys will be out in just over 2 weeks! YIKES!!! 
Card base is Elegant Eggplant, background Always Artichoke with the new Square Lattice embossing folder. Loving that new folder and seeing it everywhere!!! Images are from True Friend. I stamped the main image on Naturals Ivory using my markers in Elegant Eggplant & Always Artichoke. Background strip inked in Elegant Eggplant. The 'friend' is from the saying in the set, 'a true friend is you friend'. I just inked the top 'friend' with my Elegant Eggplant marker. I added Always Artichoke brads to the center of the main flower, and on the saying on both ends. Pretty quick and easy!!!

ReplyDeleteLOVE this card! I've always loved that stamp set, I have no idea why I never bought it...you may have just put me over the edge and now I "need" it!! Great color combo and texture! I can't believe your school year ends in two weeks, I'm so jealous since I work at the school in our area, we've got 5 weeks to go!
