Merry Christmas!!

My sincerest Wish to you all-Merry Christmas! Looking to be a good one here! Here is the card our family mailed out this year.

Tried to keep it somewhat simple. It wasn't too bad. But maybe the fact that we significantly pared down the list helped!! Less than 70 this year. Some years we have been right at 100! Yikes!!

Card base is Blackberry Bliss. Mossy Meadow accent layer. Background is Shimmery White. Textured with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Edges sponged in Smoky Slate. The Trees from Festival of Trees were stamped on Shimmery White in Mossy Meadow. Blackberry dots were added before punching with the coordinating Tree Punch. They are attached to a Smoky Slate tag made using the Scallop Tag Topper. Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped at the bottom and a Blackberry Bliss 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon is attached at the top.

Products used detailed below.

Merry Christmas to all of you!! Not sure if I'll be back before New Years or not. We are headed to the Alamo Bowl to watch our Kansas State Wildcats play UCLA and #1 Son march with the Pride of Wildcat land! The Pride is officially The Best Marching Band in the Land as they were recently announced the winners of the Sudler Trophy!!!

Weekly Deals 12 23-29 2014

Here are the deals for this week! December 23-29! Oh, I hear more items have been added to the Year End Closeout too-check it out!!

Fall Thank You!

This is the Thank You card I sent to the cousins who hosted us for Thanksgiving!

I resorted to an old favorite technique for this one. Actually, two. The background is done with the leaf stamp from For All Things. The inking was done on a baby wipe that I dropped ink refill onto in Baked Brown Sugar, Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight. I cleaned the stamp each time and reinked so the color weren't muddy. Over the leaves I stamped the dots from Gorgeous Grunge in Baked Brown Sugar also. Next I sponged the edge of the background with Daffodil and stamped the Thank You (Watercolor Thank You) in the center with Early Espresso. Lastly, I ran the entire background through the Big Shot in the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder. The background is layered onto Early Espresso and then the card base of Cherry Cobbler.

Products used listed below. Thanks for stopping by today!! Check back Christmas Eve for our family Christmas card of 2014! After missing last year, it feels good to have done one this year!!
