Thanking You flowers

Hey all! Here is a card I made several of last week/weekend and sent to customers this week! I got this large thank you recently (Thanking You) and knew it would be great with DSP!

I've also been thinking Pink, so this worked perfectly! These elements are all from The Country Woods  Suite, page 48-51 in the Annual Catalog. The DSP is from the Country Lace pack and I chose the gray print background. The thank you was actually a little bigger than I thought, but I knew I wanted some accent at the bottom. I reached for the Country Flowers dies and looked at the options. Originally, I thought maybe a stamped image (from the coordinating Country Flowers set) but they were a little too big. I opted for this "bucket" and separate flowers in Petal Pink. These flowers are a total of 4 dies. I used many Mini Dimensionals and glue dots! The thank you is embossed by stamping the Craft White ink and adding White Powder (long time since I've done that!!). In the center of the flowers is Shimmery Crystal Effects. Also hadn't used anything like that for a while. Just takes a little patience (for drying time) and practice to get consistent dots!

White Christmas

Hello all! Happy Tuesday! I was working on another project yesterday (will share later this week) and I took a break to look at the Christmas challenge. The theme yesterday was "cheer". I took a look at a few of the cards that had been shared, and I saw one with a wine glass. Inspiration! I knew I had a couple sets that were wine themed, so I started looking!! I am a wino after all :) Here is what I came up with!

Stamp set is the retired Half Full and even includes a few Christmas sayings! In addition to the one I used, there is a "Merry Christmas" and to go with the above, "but if the white runs out I'll drink red". Either or both would be perfect inside!! Card base is Cherry Cobbler, accent of Crumb Cake behind the retired DSP (Season of Style). I stamped the wine bottle and glass in Memento (should probably have been Stazon to watercolor) and then colored with Blender pen and ink pad. The tag by the way is from the current Greetings of the Season die set.

Birthday Leaves

Couldn't resist one more! Was looking to make some birthday cards and came across a color challenge that was perfect for these leaves!! Maybe the last one, I moved on to something else yesterday that has no leaves :) Here is my card

Inspired by this color challenge at Color Throwdown

My Stampin' Up Colors are Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Pretty Peacock. These die cut leaves are a bit tedious, but now that I've got my fine tip glue functioning it will go faster! Also, get a Silicone Mat to keep the glue off the work surface!! Sticky spots make me crazy!! Card base is Pretty Peacock, accent layer of Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla background. I stamped the splatter image twice with Crushed Curry, then layered outline leaves in Pretty Peacock and die cut stamped leaves in Cherry Cobbler. Fine tip glue for the outline leaves, Mini Dimensionals on the Cherry ones. Crushed Curry bow in the center, attached with glue dots over the stems in the middle. Happy Birthday from Simply Said.

Thanks for stopping by! We're off to K-State football later (go Cats!) and need to get some chores done first! There is a project on my table so hopefully I'll be back soon!
