Morning all! Here is a another card done with the colors from the Color Throwdown #CTD569 challenge. I actually did this one first, but liked the other better. This is OK, I just didn't feel like it featured the colors as well as the other.
Stamp set is Beautiful Friendship and is one of the Distinktive Stamps that Stampin' Up! makes now, They are designed to give color variation, and do so very well! Colors are Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green. I stamped the large flower once in Gorgeous Grape, a second time in Highland Heather and added some accent leaves in Granny Apple Green. Card base is Gorgeous Grape, accent layer of Granny Apple Green. Base layer is Shimmery White so it is very pretty in person! Saying was stamped on a 2" circle, then attached to a Grape Starburst punch. Attached to card base with Dimensionals. #Simplestamping
Hope to be back with another creation or two with these colors. They are a perfect fit for me!! We'll see how the week goes!! Thanks for stopping by today. Product details and shopping links below.
Hey all, I kinda liked my Throwback idea last week and decided to do another. The retired Sunflower background stamp has been on my mind so I pulled it out. Took a bit of pondering as to what to do - it has been a LONG time! I like what I happened on though, see what you think.
I inked the sunflower with Blackberry Bliss and stamped off to one side on a piece of Sahara Sand. I added Friend from Daisy Lane in Memento Black lower right corner. For the color, I picked up my Wink of Stella and started going over petals. Wow! The color from the stamped image blended with the glitter. For the center I picked up some Sahara Sand from the ink pad and blended that in. Was hoping for a little more color, but the Blackberry was pretty dominant. Very center I added some Shimmery Crystal effects for dimension. After it was dry, I trimmed the Sahara Sand with a Rectangle die and layered onto a Basic Black accent layer. Card base is Blackberry Bliss. #simplestamping
Give this a try! I don't remember ever doing this before, or seeing it. It does use a decent amount of Stella for this large a stamp, but smaller flowers or images wouldn't be bad.

Howdy all! Very honored to play along with the Team at Color Throwdown this week as the Guest Star Stamper. #CTD569 And, look at these colors. Are these me or what?!? Purple, Lavender and Green.
Here is the card I came up with, using a new to me set Beautiful Friendship. Stampin' Up! Colors are Gorgeous Grape, Highlands Heather and Granny Apple Green.
The set is one of the Distinktive sets by Stampin' Up! Distinktive is defined as photo-realistic images using a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a simple step. You can see the variation in the flowers above. It is all done by the stamps - I inked everything just once!
Card base is Gorgeous Grape, accent layer of Granny Apple Green. Stamping is done on Shimmery White so it has some sparkle in person. I stamped the flower grouping in Gorgeous Grape first, somewhat centered on opposite corners. Then I added the same flower in Highlands Heather, one on each side of the Grape flower. Lastly, Granny Apple Green leaves. The saying was stamped on a separate piece of Shimmery White and punched with a 2" circle and layered onto a Grape Starburst punch. Added to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.Simple stamping at its best!!

Needed this tonight...in so many ways! Long weekend with just too much today. Went immediately to the stamp room after dinner to create. Love the simplicity, and the message.
Inspired by the Color Throwdown colors of the week, even though I missed being able to enter. It was more about the creation and me time tonight. Here is their challenge block.
Orange, Brown, Moss Green and Cream. Or, in my Stampin' Up! World, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Mint Macaron and Very Vanilla.
Stamp set is Colorful Seasons with accent "dots" from Perennial Birthday. I stamped the saying first, then the large leaves in Pumpkin Pie, small leaves in Mint Macaron and then dots. Some full, some off once, some off twice. Final accent was some Faceted dots in Mint Macaron, but apparently they are retired (sorry!). Card base is Thick Very Vanilla, accent of Soft Suede and background of Very Vanilla. More #simplestamping
