Birthday Brew!

Last Stamparatus card for now!! This one was fun, but a little stressful! I'm much more a quick and easy stamper than one for this many details! Both in the stamp set and the coordinating dies. But I do love the end result!

Part of the frustration was that I hadn't used either the set or dies before. First go I had the labels totally wrong. But, I came back and gave it another shot! Colors are Soft Suede, Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate. The bottles were stamped using the hinge technique. I did it "bottoms out" for more even ink. That means the stamp was not up against the hinge, but out on the edge of the cardstock. Card base is Soft Suede with a Merry Merlot layer behind a Whisper White background. Bottles were stamped in Soft Suede. Saying and label accents in Merry Merlot. Bubbles at the top in Crumb Cake. Bottle caps were cut from Smoky Slate. Questions? Let me know!

Hello Wreath Swirl

One more wreath card from the Stamparatus.

Still super cool right?? This one was a 3-1/2" square. Almost too big for a card front this size, but would be awesome on a square card of 4 or 5 inch size. Colors are Highland Heather, So Saffron and Whisper White. Card base is Highland Heather. Background of So Saffron was textured with the Seaside Embossing Folder. The wreath was stamped with Highland Heather in the large circle swirl. I then added a smaller solid circle and flower inside the swirl. That square is layered onto Highland Heather. The Hello from Jar of Fun fit perfectly on a 1-1/4" circle, layered onto a 1-1/2" circle it was was the perfect accent for the center of the wreath. Polka Dot Tulle ribbon knotted at the bottom is the final accent.

Wonderful

Another Stamparatus step or hinge card!

For this one, I centered the saying in the center of the background cardstock. I did find it inked a little better that way. I should probably say in stamps more evenly. At the edge has more pressure and sometimes that makes darker ink. Stamp set used is Rooted in Nature. Four sayings stepped down in Basic Gray then leaves added in Granny Apple Green. Some full strength, some off once. And finally dots in Basic Gray stamped off once first. Card base is Granny Apple Green, accent layer of Basic Gray and background of Whisper White. Granny Apple Green ribbon knotted at the bottom.

Daisy Thank You

Good Morning all! Happy Weekend! Sorry for the long delay in sharing. I say it all the time, life gets in the way of my stamping! Still working on taxes, busy day job, followed our basketball team to the Big 12 tourney in KC, etc. Home this weekend, battling a head cold but nothing major on the agenda. Hope to get to the stamp room to create - that should make me feel better!

Have a few cards still to share so I'm starting by typing up posts for those. Up first, this Daisy Thank You.

Calypso Coral - always a favorite! Card base is Calypso, Accent layer of Basic Gray behind a Shimmery White background. I used the Stamparatus and the "hinge" technique to stamp the "Thank You". The hinge is part of the design of the Stamparatus. Place your stamp near the top of your cardstock, stick it to the plate, ink and stamp. Then move the plate down a slot,  ink and stamp. Repeat. Pretty cool and awesome alignment! I stamped two daisy's on separate pieces of cardstock and punched with the coordinating punch. I attached them together in the center, added a Basic Gray center and sequins, and attached with dimensionals over the Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon (Occasions Catty).
