Happy Friday all! Below is the sketch of the week for the Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge. My apologies, but I've not had a chance to create anything yet, and don't feel great today. Too much on the agenda for the weekend for me to be sick, so I'm taking it easy. Hope to see you play along with us!!

Wonderful You Vintage
Card three from the weekend. The last creation, but maybe my favorite!! Love it when an idea comes out right the first time!!
I wanted to use the Fresh Vintage set and maybe some of the other SAB goodies, but I didn't want to have to color this stamp with markers. Lazy? maybe a little :) But more that it takes too long to do that with a group. Especially on a stamp with the detail of this one. Then, it occurred to me that Emboss Resist would probably work great! In looking at the Everyday Enchantment paper, I knew this was the perfect background for it! But, at first glance I would swear this particular DSP pattern was Calypso Coral. But, nope! It looks awful with Coral. I liked it with Poppy Red!!
The card base is Soft Suede with an accent layer of Poppy Parade behind the background print DSP. Across that is a Victoria Crochet Trim ribbon for accent. Mine looks very crooked in the picture-oops!! The center element contains the emboss resist floral image. Remember, stamp with Versamark, add clear embossing powder and heat. Sponge Poppy Parade Ink over the image. When all covered, rub the ink in well with the sponge, then wipe off any excess with a tissue. Pop!! The stamped image is backed by both Poppy Parade and Soft Suede and attached over the ribbon with dimensionals.

Sketch Frenzy Friday 021712
Happy Friday all! Hope your week has been good and you have fun plans for the weekend. Robotics tournament here-with my two boys running two different Bots. Should be interesting!! The tournaments are always enjoyable though, so win or lose it will be a good day!!
On to the reason you're here: Sketch Frenzy Friday!! A fun sketch this week!! Here is what I came up with
based on this sketch by Kim Innis.
I thought of these little "stamps" the first time I saw this sketch so that is what I reached for tonight. This set is Fresh Vintage, a FREE set during Sale-A-Bration!! My card base is Lucky Limeade with a Baja Breeze accent layer behind the DSP print background. The DSP is from the Everyday Enchantment pack-another FREE SAB item!! I attached two strips of the Lucky Limeade 1/8" Organdy Ribbon. You guessed it, another FREE SAB item. And, actually, hostesses with a workshop total of $400 get ALL THREE of these items FREE :) LOVE this time of year!!
I stamped the "stamps" on Naturals Ivory and punched with the Postage Stamp Punch. They are attached with dimensionals over the ribbon. The saying I used is from Friendly Phrases. I stamped it in Lucky Limeade on Naturals Ivory and punched it with the Scallop Oval punch. I accented the words with the small flower from Fresh Vintage in Baja Breeze. That is layered onto a Lucky Limeade Scallop Oval Punch Window and attached to the background with dimensionals.

Cherry Mixed Thanks
Card two from Club last weekend. This was inspired by cards my upline Linda Gutierrez shared. See her versions here. I love the simple yet WOW! look of them!! I only have the pleated ribbon in Baja Breeze & Blushing Bride, and I was short on the Blushing Bride, so I had to look at DSP that would work with the Baja. Here is what I settled on.
The DSP print is Baja Breeze and Cherry Cobbler and is from the Twitterpated pack in the Occasions Mini. I love the contrast of these colors together!! Card base is Cherry Cobbler with a Baja accent layer behind the Whisper White/DSP layer. I cut a full layer of Whisper White and we attached the DSP at the very top. The ribbon is attached across the center with Snail adhesive or Mini Glue dots. It is not tucked at the edge, just trimmed neatly. When doing that, make sure you have some adhesive right at the edge of the card. The bold flower was stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White and punched with the Blossom punch. The center was stamped in Baja Breeze, also on Whisper White, and attached with Snail. In the center is a Glimmer Brad from the Basics set. I used Silver on one of my samples, and Basic Gray on the other and both looked great! The flower is attached with dimensionals to straddle the ribbon. The 'Thank You' is from Curly Cute and was stamped in Cherry Cobbler on the bottom corner.
Thanks for stopping by today!! I will be posting the last club card on Saturday, and don't miss the latest challenge from Sketch Frenzy Friday tomorrow! Maybe more posts if I get done cleaning today and find to stamp!!

Just My Type!
Here is card one from Club last weekend. I've been wanting to use this set, You're My Type from the Occasions Mini. With Valentine's yesterday it seemed the perfect time for this one.
Nothing complex, just layers and stamping. Card base is Basic Gray with a Real Red accent layer behind First Edition DSP. In the center is another layered element with Basic Gray, Real Red and Very Vanilla. The typewriter was stamped on another piece of Very Vanilla in Basic Gray and cut out. We added the words in Real Red and a punched hear in Real Red. The typewriter is attached with dimensionals.
Quick and easy! And, you could easily swap out other words and use a flower punch or button accent.

Sketch Frenzy Friday 021012
Happy Friday all! Wow, I had one of "those weeks" where I didn't touch the stamps at all! Yikes!! Not cool! and that will be a problem very soon as I have Club this weekend!! Actually, it's early yet for that!! Sunday afternoon is a long time away :)
Anyway, as you know Friday means another Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch and mini hop. Sketch this week by me!! Here is the card
Based on this sketch:
This sketch is based on a card I did last fall for my Open House using the Baby Wipe technique. So, of course I was inspired to do that again but using the fun new Mixed Bunch set. I looked for some Springy colors, something bright and cheery. It's finally decided to be Winter here in Nebraska and I'm NOT liking that! We had about a foot of snow last weekend-YUCK!! Anyway, my fun colors are Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze and So Saffron. I used reinker on a Baby Wipe and made a blended stamp pad with all three colors. I inked the ornate flower using that ink pad and stamped the background. The card base is Poppy Parade with a Baja Breeze accent layer. The edge of the background layer was sponged with So Saffron. The saying is from Curly Cute. I sponged the edge of that layer also with So Saffron and layered onto So Saffron that had the edges punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch.

Sketch Frenzy Friday 020312
Happy Friday all! Looking here to be a very snowy weekend. Not ready for that necessarily, but the downtime will be OK! The event my boys had has already been postponed!
As you know Friday means another Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge and mini tour! Here is my creation
based on this sketch by Deb Currier.
My card is all Poppy Parade. I looked around at several different things I thought might work, but once I settled on this heart from the FREE SAB set, Sprinkled Expressions, I knew I wanted it all Poppy. The background is DSP from the Patterns 2010-2012 In Color Stack. Remember these colors are going away VERY soon!! Get stocked up now!! I accented the background with a layer of Whisper White. The main image is also stamped on Whisper White. The two background accent pieces are also Patterns In Color DSP. I tied a Poppy Parade ribbon around the background layer and knotted it before attaching the heart panel with dimensionals. I opted to leave off the circle element from the sketch. Nothing seemed right there and it looked OK to me without. :)
Pretty quick and easy! Love it when things come together without much thought! Continue on the tour by clicking HERE to see what Kim has created this week. Remember, all the member blogs are linked in my right side bar if you get derailed at any point. Stop by the SFF blog and play along!!
