Daffodil Butterfly

Howdy all! Here is a another Butterfly thank you card. Several of these went in the mail to customers earlier this week for orders last month.

Card base is Daffodil Delight, accent layer of Basic Black and a Shimmery White background. I stamped the butterflies with Memento Black on Shimmery White and cut with the coordinating die. Remember this is a background size stamp and the die is one coordinating piece. So one stamp gives you the 6 different butterflies. I colored the butterfly with Stampin' Blends in So Saffron and Daffodil Delight, light and dark of each. The top is more Saffron, the bottom more Daffodil. The saying is from Butterfly Gala. The accents behind the butterfly are from the Comfort and Hope set. The circle is stamped in Daffodil, the square in Smoky Slate. Retired Daffodil ribbon knotted around. I curled the butterfly just a bit over an ink pen before attaching with Mini Dimensionals.

Seaside Butterfly

Hey all, Happy Thursday! Finally made time to use the Butterfly set and dies! LOVE them!! One stamp and cut with the die gets you 6 different butterflies to color! And Stampin' Blends are the perfect choice! Honestly they have kind of ruined regular markers for me :( Anyway, here is the first creation!

Several of these went in the mail earlier this week to clients who ordered last month. My first thought when I sat down to color these was retiring In Colors. So here we have Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. Card base is Seaside Spray, accent layer of Basic Black and background layer of Shimmery White. The butterflies were stamped on a separate piece of Shimmery White and cut with the coordinating die. Blends to color, accent areas in Posy, most of the wings with Seaside. The accent stamps under the butterfly are from the Comfort & Hope set. I just happened to see something similar on Pinterest and LOVED it and my set was just sitting by my desk waiting to be used! Saying from Butterfly Gala and Seaside Metallic Ribbon for accent.

Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be back tomorrow with another butterfly card - don't miss it! Product details and shopping links below.

Thank you!

Quick and easy card today! One of my boys needed a thank you and I had nothing already made that was masculine at all. So, I made him one. #simplestamping using just ink, cardstock and DSP!

I was thinking very simple after cruising Pinterest for ideas. I knew I had the plaid DSP left from last fall so I grabbed it and found a color combo I liked. I settled on this blue/green combo that coordinates with Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce. Card base is Pretty Peacock, accent layer of Shaded Spruce behind the plaid. The center Basic White was cut with the Stitched Rectangle, large enough to fit the saying wide, and tall enough to do several!! I went through all my sets checking for a large thank you. This is what I settled on from the Ornate Thanks set. I eyeballed the sayings using my Stamparatus. I started with the center one, shifted my paper to do the top and bottom. Nothing to fancy and it's not 100% perfect and that's OK too. I attached the Basic White with dimensionals to the plaid DSP. Debated some bling, but there really isn't room.

Blackberry Pretty Perennials

Hey, all! Happy Monday. If you're into basketball, how does your bracket look? Pretty ugly here!! March Madness for sure! I needed a couple birthday cards to mail this week so I reached for the Pretty Perennials set last night and came up with this!

Love this set and how easy it is to stamp and blend together! I just realized there is a coordinating die that I've not used because of how easy it stamps. Colors, Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee and Old Olive. Don't remember exactly how I landed on this combo, but it is the first option on the Color Coach for Bumblebee. Also I knew I wanted to go horizontal with this card instead of vertical like the previous ones done with this set. I knew that would leave room for a ribbon. This is a new one to me in Blackberry so of course it needed to be used :) Card base is Blackberry Bliss, accent layers of both Bumblebee and Old Olive behind the Very Vanilla base. Flowers and leaves stamped in all three colors. Strip across the center of Vanilla with a Blackberry accent. Saying and flowers on this piece in the same colors and a knotted Blackberry ribbon. Quick and easy!

A reminder that we are nearing the end of the Annual catalog. Retirement lists come out this week. While that will bring a sale with it, it will also mean products start selling out. You can guess some products not, anything with the 2019-2021 In Colors will be going. Get them now!!

Thanks for stopping by today! I'm off to mail cards and then hopefully back in the stamp room this afternoon while watching basketball. Product details and shopping links below.
