More Pretty Perennials!

I liked the last #simplestamping card so much I went back last night and made a couple more! Different colors though with purple being first up (of course!!)

Gorgeous Grape base, accent layers of Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. Basic White background that I stamped flowers in Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Daffodil Delight and leave accents in Granny Apple Green. The happy stamp is just so happy 💜 Love how it came out!!

Two for one today. Here is another. Same layout, very different colors. Experiment!

I reached for the Merry Merlot ink first, then started pulling other colors to go with. I settled on Merry Merlot, Pool Party, Bumblebee and Pear Pizzazz. And Very Vanilla makes for a very different look, more soft. Card base is Merlot, accents of both Pool Party and Bumble Bee. Leaves in Pear Pizzazz.

Pretty Perennials Simple Birthday

Hey all, happy Tuesday! Again supposed to be "warm" in Nebraska. That is relative after the super lows of last week, but I'll take it :) #melting

Time in the stamp room again last night. Gave my table the complete once over - yeah! So clean!! Creativity must follow :) I've been negligent with sharing the SU! "simple stamping" challenges. But this card fits the month! February is Stamps, Ink, Paper and Happy Birthday. #simplestamping. Here is my submission.

The colors, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody came from an old challenge over at Stamping Pals. Knew it would be GREAT with the flower set, Pretty Perennials. And wow, it is!! Card base of Melon Mambo, accent layers of both Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green. Background of Basic White. On that Basic White I stamped a large flower in Melon Mambo, medium flower in Mango, leave accents in Granny Apple Green, small flower and small dotted flower in Melon, crazy flower in Mango. The saying is on a separate strip of Basic White with a few Mango flower accents, layered on a Melon Mambo strip. #easypeasy Love love love how this came out :)

Forever Blossoms Birthday

Good morning all! 27 degrees and sun to start the day in Nebraska. Melt snow melt!! I had some play time this weekend and came up with this card using an old technique inspired by the color challenge at Inspire. Create. Challenge . To be honest, I started some garden seeds and went looking for tape, either masking or painters to mark the rows. Didn't find any in the garage (and I didn't stay long it is too cold!!), but there was painters tape in the stamp room! So a painters tape card!!

based on this color challenge, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Sahara Sand and Basic Black.

This is more color than I've previously done with this technique but it's also a larger stamp. You can see previous cards I've done here and here. To do this, tear off several pieces of painters tape that will go the length of the pad. The length of the pad is almost as wide as the card. I started with the center color, Sahara Sand. Press the tape gently down on the pad, run your finger over it gently so you aren't picking up ink that will smudge. Release the tape from the pad and gently press down on the Very Vanilla cardstock. Use different tape for Blushing Bride and stack above and below the Sahara. I did use the same piece twice here. And again for the Rococo Rose on the top and bottom. Be gentle with pealing the tape off the cardstock! Painters tape is designed to not be super sticky but you never know! Next I added the flowers from Forever Blossoms and the Happy Birthday from Peaceful Moments. I went over the entire flower with Stella, added Fine Art Ribbon and layered the card together. Basic Black accent layer, Rococo Rose base. Final accents, rhinestones that I added a touch of Rococo Rose to with my Stampin' Blend.
