A birthday card using Beautiful Bunch. Below is the sketch of the week.

Thanks for stopping by today! Product details below.
More stamping time, but for reasons I'd rather not. Sympathy cards. Not my favorite! This one is for a friend lost WAY too young & way too sudden.
I happened on this technique and a very similar card on Pinterest the other day. Perfect for some of the 'Nature' stamps we have, including World of Dreams. The card I saw is featured on this post from Too Cool Stamping. Love it and can't wait to try other colors and stamps!
Here is my card, with similar colors and stamps. Perfect for a masculine Sympathy card.
This technique is called Painters Tape and it's exactly what it sounds like. Take a piece of Painters Tape ( or any 'removable' tape) and press onto an ink pad. Remove from pad, and press across card stock. My edges are a little "too clean" but this was my first try. I now know to go a little shorter with the tape and a little less perfect :) Colors are Soft Sky, Sahara Sand & Lost Lagoon. Card base is Lost Lagoon, Basic Black accent layer, Very Vanilla background. Flower image from World of Dreams and saying from Thoughts and Prayers stamped in Memento Black. Accent, Silver Metallic button with Linen Thread knotted in center.
Thank you for stopping by! Back soon, sadly, with another sympathy card.
Finally-I stamped! Feels pretty good and I'm excited to try a few more things soon! The process was very slow, I keep having to check and make sure things I'm using are current and what my options are! I've been sorting through product and have a decent feel for things again! I looked around at a few challenges last night for inspiration and settled on the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. Here is my card
based on this sketch. I needed clean and not too complex and this was perfect!!
I'm struggling a little too with colors, but hopefully that won't last long. I love Blackberry Bliss so I reached for that, then chose a neutral for the background. I did Crumb Cake first, but it was to dark so then I went with Sahara Sand. So, card base is Blackberry Bliss, Background is Very Vanilla. Sahara Sand element, Blackberry Bliss flower and saying. Blackberry Bliss 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon for the accent.
Thank you for stopping by! Hope to be back very soon!!
