March Pumpkin Beyond The Horizon

Howdy all! Hope all is well. Done with taxes here, finally! Ready for Spring outside work but may be a bit chilly or windy the next few days, we shall see! Also have some cleaning and food prep for Easter on the agenda.

Made it to the stamp room last night. Opened my new goodies but knew the creativity probably wasn't there. So I reached for the most recent Paper Pumpkin - the March Beyond the Horizon kit. Mine was very late getting here so truly has only been here a few days. And April is already on the way.

These are great cards and quick and easy to put together. First, the box! Love that we frequently have a variety there now :) I have plenty of the bright orange ones. This is a great pattern and coordinates (of course!) with the inside. The top of the box

And the end. Hello Beyond the Horizon!

Inside the box at open. Not one, but TWO stamp sets. Ink spot. Ribbon. Note of thanks and the kit wrapped in tissue below.

Close up of the sets. First the one that coordinates with the kit.

And the bonus FREE set with the note of thanks. Both sets coordinate with the New Horizons Suite Collection.

And the kit. 3 cards, 3 of each. Colors include Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Old Olive and Pale Papaya.

A look at the envelopes, top and bottom. Love these!

I missed a picture of the rest of the kit. Die cuts, card bases, glue dots, dimensionals, ribbon, irridescent rhinestones. Here are the cards!

Quick and easy! Nine cards, ready to mail! Have a great day all, hope to be back soon. One bookkeeping project next, then cleaning house on the agenda today. Hopefully I have some help and it will go faster than expected :)

Remember you have two options for Paper Pumpkin. Sign up directly at my site HERE. That will bill you month by month. You can opt out any time you need to, including skipping a month. Daisy Lane 2 ways

Howdy again all! More creations from the other night. Daisy Lane, a retiring set :( Get it now!

I saw something similar on either Pinterest or Insta (can't find it again!). but inspired so here we go!

The card I saw was White on White (no accent layer), light Daisy in the background, color popped Daisy and saying. Here is my first attempt (click to enlarge!)

I seem to not be able to *not* do an accent layer! And, my neutral colors are all dark, not light! I just reinked them so that is part, but I honestly never feel they are "light". This one is Gray Granite and Melon Mambo. I stamped the daisy on the background randomly. On another piece of Basic White I did the Daisy and Friend in Melon Mambo. I punched the Daisy with the coordinating punch and hand cut the Friend. Card base is Basic White, accent of Gray Granite and background of Basic White stamped with Daisies in Gray Granite. The Daisy and saying are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. The Daisy has Stella in the center. I added a few sequins for accent. Leftover sequins from the last Paper Pumpkin I did.

Second play, similar but different! Crumb Cake with Polished Pink (click to enlarge)

Same as above, just different colors. Crumb Cake accent and background stamping, Polished Pink flower and saying. Same sequin accents.

Thanks for stopping by - product details and shopping links below. Hopefully back soon!

Flowing Flowers Friend

Howdy all. Made it to the stamp room last night! Finished up something that was already started on the desk. Flowing Flowers is a GREAT set in the current mini catalog. I do NOT think it is carrying over, BTW, so get it if you like it! Very pretty flowers from all the images!!

I had an old color challenge that had Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. Love the concept! And I had seen a card with a similar layout somewhere online? Here is the first one.

Card base of Daffodil Delight. Accent of Basic Gray behind Basic White. Basic stamping here, #simplestamping. No additional layers for the center greeting. I had stamped around the edge of the Basic White, I assume with the Smoky Slate as that is the lighter color. I then came in with Daffodil delight more towards the center. I did the Hello from Biggest Wish in Smoky Slate, the friend in Basic Gray. Accents of Rhinestones that I colored Daffodil with my Blend. *note this is VERY hard on the tips!! Retired Daffodil ribbon knotted around.

And another, trying it with more Gray.

More Gray, and I realized when I scanned that the first has smaller cut layers so more of the Daffodil shows around the edge. May have to modify, as that would soften the gray! This one I did Basic Gray first, then Smoky Slate, then Daffodil flowers. Hello again in Smoky Slate, friend in Basic Gray. Don't hate it but maybe a little less cheery with less yellow? Ribbon the other say, more Daffodil Rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by today. Another project to share likely tomorrow. No idea when stamping next - gotta get the taxes done :( Product details and shopping links below.

Always a bit of a sad day. But soon overshadowed by the *NEW* stuff coming :) I haven't yet made it through these lists compared to my catalog, but I did take a peek at the new one coming. NOT disappointed at all!!

**Many items are on sale, varying percentages off!

Below are the lists in 2 different formats. The Excel list is sortable, and much more readable on the screen. The PDF list print is TINY!!

Magenta Artistic

Hey, all! Happy Thursday. Here is another card with the Artistically Inked set. I've admired this one all year, finally pulled it out and used it! Mailed several of these earlier this week, hopefully they've been received!!

Colors inspired by this Color Challenge at TGIF Challenges. Love these colors together!!

I stamped 3 flowers in Magenta Madness on the Shimmery White background. Added Soft Suede centers and then Bumblebee smaller flowers. I then filled in the edges with the splatter piece (long narrow) by stamping off once with Soft Suede and filling in the open white areas around the edge. Also added dots in Soft Suede to the center of the Bumblebee flowers and the lighter Soft Suede filled areas. Ribbon is Bumblebee Gingham. Shape the "thanks" is on is from the Potted Succulents die set. It is attached with dimensionals over the ribbon. Champagne Rhinestones for accent in the flower centers. Stamped background layered on to an accent of Soft Suede then the Magenta Madness card base.
