First, if you didn't see my previous posts, I will link them here for you:

We are up to the July kit! This was another non-card kit. And one I didn't put together, yet! But here are some pictures of the contents! (click on the picture to enlarge)

It's a Banner Kit! For a Birthday or special day! The pattern stamps are to do backgrounds behind the letters. I will share the completed banners when I find time to put them together :)

Next, the August kit is more cards! A very cute Thank-you card!! Here are the contents of the kit.

Each month a detailed instruction sheet is enclosed. Stamps, ink and everything you might need except adhesive.  The parts of the card are wrapped in with the instructions and cardboard so they aren't damaged in the mail. Below, the card pieces.

For this one, you added the yellow strips across the top and bottom. Adhered the red triangle banners. Stamped the bicycle and thank-you. Done! times 4. Envelopes for mailing are also included.

The finished card. A very nice thank you that was quick and easy to put together!!

Next, September, more cards! I have quite the stash of cards to be mailed out!! Hopefully I can start working on that later this week. Here is the kit as I opened it.

With the packet open.

And below, the finished card. For this one, you stamped the words (two separate stamps) on the folder punch out, added the Baker's Twine, arrows and button. All attached to the card front with dimensionals.

That's it for today! We're getting close to done with these. 3 more from last year, then January. Should be able to get them all posted this week! Don't forget to sign up for your Paper Pumpkin delivery!! Free Markers :)

Vivid Vases CCMC286

Back finally with the 2nd card I created last week. Sorry it took so long!! This one was for the color challenge over at Create with Connie Mary. Here is what I came up with!

Oops, just realized I did the wrong colors. Supposed to be Perfect Plum, Island Indigo and Smoky Slate. I used Rich Razzleberry instead of the Perfect Plum. Guess I won't link it for their challenge! That's OK. I like what I came up with!! Maybe I'll try again? Probably not before the deadline!

My water coloring needs work too, but I do like this fun new single stamp, Vivid Vases. I've seen some great samples out there!! My card base is Rich Razzleberry with a Smoky Slate accent behind a DSP print in Island Indigo. The ribbon is the Whisper White 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain. Accent on the corner, the new Candy Dots in Rich Razzleberry.

That's it! Thanks for stopping by. Hope to be back soon, but no promises! Might be a long week as I'm still recovering from a not so restful weekend and I think I'm working by myself a few days this week. Amazing how much more tiring those days are without a coworker to share the load!! Have a GREAT week all!

Happy Watercolor NAC72

Howdy all! Hope your Thursday was a good day! Not the best here as I deal with frustration with the new health insurance that we were forced to change to. But, life goes on, and a resolution was achieved. I'm sure it won't be the last frustration with this new system!!

Any way, to relieve my stress tonight I headed to the stamp room! Two cards made, one to share with you now! I've been watching for challenges to do for inspiration and this one caught my eye! Two of the three colors were already sitting on my desk from recent use! The challenge is the Nacho Average Challenge led my friend Tammy Fite and her wonderful team of stampers!! This week is a color challenge and this is what I came up with!

I really like this new set, Happy Watercolor. Cards come together very quick and easy! Card base is Chocolate Chip, accent of Bermuda Bay with a DSP background of Crushed Curry. This DSP print is from the Kaleidoscope package in the new Mini. I stamped the flower image in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White and then added the color swatches in Crushed Curry. I accented with the dots in Bermuda Bay. That is layered onto Bermuda Bay and then Chocolate Chip. Attached over a Crushed Curry ribbon with dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by! Back soon with the other card I made tonight :)

More My Paper Pumpkin!!

As promised, more My Paper Pumpkin samples and information!!

Before I get to the samples, I want to make sure everyone understands that IF (or When??) you join My Paper Pumpkin, you will not get these exact kits. Except for the Welcome Kit that I shared in the previous post HERE. That is the first one that goes out to every new subscriber. Otherwise there is one kit each month. Only available that month as the subscription delivery. I'm sharing the ones I've received this year as samples for you of what has been previously sent. Each month going forward will be a surprise!!  Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have ANY QUESTIONS!!

OK, here is the next My Paper Pumpkin received. April I think :)

Above, the kit contents fresh out of the box. See the instruction sheet, card base and layer pieces, ink, stamps (in the cello bag), and embellishments.

A closer view of one of the card layers. These are self-adhesive pieces that "peel and stick". :)

More layers, again both self-adhesive.

Version 1 of the card with the "you kick booty" phrase. Not sure I like that one!

Second version. "Love your guts". Very quick and easy card. Easy that is, IF you can thread the hemp through the button!! I always seem to be a little challenged with that!!

Next, the May kit is a Brag Book. I didn't put this one together. Yet. I never have pictures printed. They live digitally inside my computer. I'm thinking about it though and will take a second look at it in the next few days :)

Look at all the goodies in there! Stamps. Cardboard covers. Rings for binding. Accessories. Adhesive Accents. Many pages!

And, lastly for today. The June Kit. A VERY fun one!! I remember seeing this card when the kit came out. It was fun to make and I'm excited to be mailing them out to someone this week!!

Above, kit contents in the box. Instructions, ink, stamps. The card stock and such are packaged with the instructions between two cardboard sheets so they aren't damaged ever! Some of  my boxes have arrived fairly squished but the contents have all been fine!!

A more detailed look at the card stock contents.

Above the finished card.  Below, closed and laying down. see how the hearts are stamped on the inside but show through?  Cool!!

Remember the special! Join My Paper Pumpkin before February 10 and receive the 2012-2104 In Color Markers FREE. That is a $14.95 value!! What a deal for a fun, creative escape that arrives monthly in your mail box!!

Petite Petals CCMC285

Another creation! Feeling very good to be back to stamping!! Not a happy occasion card, but a necessary "reach out and touch" someone kind of card for a Stamping Friend who lost a Sibling this week.

The minute I saw the sketch at Create with Connie and Mary I knew I wanted to use this new set, Petite Petals and the coordinating punch.  Here is the card and sketch.

Colors are Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry. Curry keeps working its way into my creations-never guessed that would be a favorite color!  I stamped random flowers in the 3 colors on the Whisper White background, then stamped some more on a separate Whisper White and punched with the coordinating punch. Crushed Curry ribbon accents under the saying. The saying is from the So Sorry set. The punched flowers were attached with dimensionals over the stamped flowers. Pretty quick and easy! May have to go do some more similar ones with Birthday sayings!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Happy Watercolor FMS118

Happy Monday all! OK, OK, maybe not! :) I've been in the stamp room already, so it's a Good Monday here!! I opened my box of new things from the Spring Mini last night and WOW!! The ideas are flowing!! I have one card done already and another running through my head!! Lots of fun stuff!!

Here is the first creation for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

I was drawn to the Happy Watercolor set and the Watercolor Wonder DSP. Some of the prints in that pack are absolutely beautiful!! I chose a simple one as I didn't want to overwhelm the flower. Maybe not colors that I would naturally put together but I do like-Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango. I stamped the saying at the bottom of the DSP in Tango. The flower is stamped with Black Stazon over the Crushed Curry ink blot. Pretty quick and easy!!

Thanks for stopping by today!
