Remarkable Hello

For some reason I've seen lots of samples with the You are Remarkable set so I grabbed it and played a little last weekend! I must admit, I totally overlooked the "solid" images in this set. In my head it has always been a "have to color" set, but NOPE! The flower is a little easier to align then the stem, but we got close!

Color is Strawberry Slush. Stem is Granny Apple Green. Basic Black accent layer and "hello" from the Simply Said set. DSP is from the Floral Impressions pack and the pearls are from the 25-27 In-Color Pearls. Very quick and easy!

Big Thanks

Howdy all! Sharing today cards created with the stamp set from the 12 days of Crafting Advent calendar! I've had it sitting here for a while, decided to finally break into it this week! Check over on Facebook to see what I've found so far! I've shared the first few days.

I chose flowers in Fall colors for the notes I needed to send. Love how it came out! And imagine all the other color possibilities! I grabbed Basic Beige for my card base and background. Rather new to SU! color but I'm liking it! The large flower is stamped in Crushed Curry, smaller in Pumpkin Pie, centers and accent in Pecan Pie. I ran the background through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine with the Dotted Circles folder (love!) for some texture then layered onto Pecan Pie. Saying is stamped on a banner cut with the Stylish Shapes dies and attached over Basic Beige ribbon with dimensionals.

I will be playing with this set more, and adding the other goodies I've found :) The calendar box is still available, link below! It has been fun to see what is behind each door, and will be more fun to use everything!! Stampin' Up! did a great job with the assortment of all occasion products!!

Hello Impressions

Howdy all! Finally found some creative time yesterday! Here is result one!

So fun, and so many options! DSP strips layered. Flowers horizontal, patterns vertical. After they were attached, I embossed the entire background. Reminds me of a quilt! The DSP is Floral Impressions. I could go cut more strips and get an entirely different look! Card base is Crushed Curry, background Basic White. Hello is from the Simply Said set, stamped on a circle cut with the Stylish Shapes dies. I opted for a circle for contrast with all the stripes!
