Painterly DSP cards

I saw this layout on Pinterest yesterday and was inspired to give it a try!

I have so much DSP in my stash so I'm always looking for ideas! This is one that will get you LOTS of cards from each sheet! Strips are 3/4" x 3-3/4". White panel is 4" x 5-1/2", standard base folded to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Look at your patterns on both sides before cutting, you want some variation. Notice I did darker patterns top and bottom, yellow next and lighter in the center. 5 strips, with an open area to stamp a saying.

This DSP is the Painterly Pears pack, that BTW is on the Last Chance list. I used 3 sheets, two sides of two, and just one of the last. You could totally mix and match and get variety! And I honestly didn't look at the other patterns! You do lose some of the detail with this small of a piece, but I think the goal is general patterns not specific!

Card base above is Secret Sea, ribbon also Secret Sea. Faux Bronze Pentagon accents. Saying is from the previous Product of the month set, Fabulous Sayings (sold out).

I found it lined up super easy by starting top and bottom. Center on your base and keep adding strips!
