Daisy Thank You!

I was getting catalogs ready to mail out today and thought to myself, I should send a card with these. A few minutes later I was browsing a Demo group on Facebook and found the perfect inspiration. Hint: need to make several cards quick?? Use DSP!! (Designer Series Paper!!)

UPDATE: I just made it back to the stamp room and remembered to check this ribbon. Good news, it isn't retired! It is the NEW 3/8" Mini Chevron ribbon. This one is Crushed Curry, but it also comes in Bermuda Bay and Old Olive!!

Oops! Seems I used a ribbon that is retired! Not sure how I missed that. Actually, I may have "missed" it last year when I purged items. Sorry. I know my recipients won't care but I really try hard to use only current stuff! Guess I haven't gotten to the step where I check that everything in my "current" area is in the new catalog!!

OK. Back to the cards. Using DSP will give you some variety! See the two samples below!!

Basic elements are the same. Paper gives variation!

Stamp set is Daisy Delight. Card base is Daffodil Delight. Old Olive accent layer, Whisper White background with DSP, a sheet from Daisy Delight, layered over. 'Thank You' was stamped at the bottom right corner of the Whisper White in Old Olive. The flowers were punched from sheets of Daffodil Delight. Centers from Old Olive. I stamped the center image in Old Olive on the Old Olive Centers and the stem image in Daffodil Delight on the Daffodil punched flowers. Plain just seemed way too plain! The ribbon is Crushed Curry in color, seems like it might be Seam Binding from a previous catalog. The "flower center" was attached to one flower, then that flower was attached to the second. The whole flower item is attached to the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Love it! Thanks for stopping by!! Contact me if any questions!!
