Back to Reality!

That's what my family will be thinking in the morning! The boys go back to school, and hubby back to work. He's been home as long as they have! I worked a few days, but not too many either with my regular days off and my boss gave me last Friday off. My plan is to get myself up and round in good time so I can get lots of stamping in! Wish me luck-getting up, & creating! I have new checkbooks & a calendar to stamp for starters, I need to update my purse & travel cup, & then a list of other projects! I need to get back in the swing of something! Time off is good, but I can honestly say I am ready for something else!

Tonight I have my November club projects to share. The first was a variation of the You card from the last post. I used most of my coordinating flowers on the swap cards, so had to change up the colors for the club cards. I did different stamps too as I knew this would be more useful for the club ladies then the other.

The card base is Chocolate Chip and it's cut with the large scallop die for the Big Shot. The Upsy Daisy flowers were stamped in Chocolate Chip on the Urban Garden DSP scallop. We punched the key tag in Kiwi Kiss after stamping the sentiment with Chocolate Chip. Flowers in coordinating colors were added with a rhinestone brad. Kiwi Kiss striped grosgrain tied around the top.

Next is this card, which I cased from page 10 in the current catalog. My hostess had requested the use of the Urban Garden DSP.

I really like how this came out! We embossed the Coneflowers with White EP on the Baha print piece of DSP. The card base is Baha Breeze textured cardstock, with a strip of Kiwi Kiss & Not Quite Navy textured cardstock. We used the Key Tag punch for the saying, stretching it by punching one side at at time. Lastly we added Not quite Navy brads to the corners of the Baha image, Old Olive ones to the saying & a knotted piece of Kiwi Kiss at the top. Pretty cool!

The last club project was ornaments from the Country Living Kit. I will try and get a picture of some of the ones I completed to post this week.

Speaking of clubs, I am looking to start more! Contact me if you are in SouthEast Nebraska and are interested! 6 months, $25/month. 3 GREAT projects each month, and hostess benefits one month. I generally like to follow the catalog cycle so all members have the SAME benefits. Hope to hear from YOU!!!

Beautiful projects! Thanks for posting those!
It's weird that it's January, and all the holiday magic is over :( But it's kind of nice to get back to "normal", whatever that is!!! I hope you have a GREAT year!!! :D
