Emboss Resist Serene Snowflakes

Two of my favorite challenges had the theme "blue" this week. Combine that with a look out the window, and it was pretty easy to come up with the inspiration for this card. We have a true Winter Wonderland going on today! It's very pretty, and so far manageable. Manageable because the wind isn't blowing. Yet.

The two challenges this works for are Hand Stamped Sentiments and Stampin' Celebration.

My card base is Night of Navy. The background is Whisper White that I first stamped with 3 sizes of snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes set with Versamark. After heat embossing with Clear Embossing Powder, I sponged ink over. Night of Navy on the largest, Marina Mist on the middle, and Bashful Blue on the smaller. I sponged the edge and any remaining bare space with Night of Navy. Around the center I tied a White Satin ribbon. The saying is from Upsy Daisy. It was stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White, punched with the Wide Oval punch, and layered on a Night of Navy Decorative Label. I stamped a Bashful Blue Snowflake over the saying and added a Rhinestone Brad to the 'o'.

Hopefully it's stopping snowing soon so we can all get out to work and school tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!!
