Sketch Frenzy Friday 030113

Happy Friday all! Hope your week was a good one! Can't believe how fast they go sometimes!!

As you know, Friday means another Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge! Here is my creation

based on this sketch by Tammy Fite.

I decided it was time to use some punches I hadn't tried yet! First, the butterflies! Papillion Potpourri has been around, but not the punch for the smaller butterflies. I decided to layer both together! First, the card base is Elegant Eggplant with a Melon Mambo accent layer behind the Very Vanilla background. I textured the Vanilla with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder. Four 1-1/4" Scallop Circles were punched from River Rock. I stamped two large butterflies in Eggplant, and one In Melon. The reverse in the small. I scored them down the center and curled the wings slightly over my Paper Piercing Tool. They are attached in the center with Snail Adhesive, then with a small piece of dimensional to the scallop circle. The 'hello' is from a fun FREE Sale-A-Bration set, Pretty Petites, and coordinates with the new FREE Petite Curly Label punch.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure you stop over at the main SFF blog to see what the rest of the team has created, and to play along!! We love to see what you come up with!

I love the texture of your background, Tammy and your beautiful butterflies look like they will fly away at any moment. So elegant!
