Happy Friday all!! My apologies for my recent absence, but couldn't be helped! Hopefully I'm back for good, but I may still be spotty with posting over the next few weeks. My oldest son is graduating High School on the 11th, so lots to get done before then!!
As you know, Friday means another round of Sketch Frenzy Friday!! I hope you've been keeping up with the sketches!! If not, stop by the SFF blog and check them out!!
Here is my creation of the week
based on this sketch by Tammy Fite
After taking a look at the sketch, I started thinking of Designer Series Paper that would work and I immediately thought of this little pad from the Spring Mini, Print Poetry DSP Stack! I'm really drawn to these colors and the prints that coordinate!! Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse and Gumball Green!!
The card base is Summer Starfruit with an accent layer of Midnight Muse behind the DSP background. I used four different prints from the stack. Across the center is a Summer Starfruit ribbon. The flowers were stamped in Starfruit, the leaves in Gumball, and all were cut with the coordinating framelit set. The set used is Secret Garden from the Spring Mini. The framelit set has the same name :)
The leaves are attached to the background with just Snail adhesive. The flowers were attached over with dimensionals. The final accent, that really makes it all pop, are the Midnight Muse Dahlias that I added in the center of the flowers. The saying is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Thanks for stopping by today!! Make sure you stop over at the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog to see the creations of the rest of the team, AND to play along!!

Wow, Jennifer! You did a great job with the sketch! Love the prints you chose and I love those dahlias as flower centers!! Beautiful!!
Jennifer, what a strikingly beautiful card! I just love the dsp you selected, and how you used it, to showcase the different qualdrants. The pattern you selected really work, and the color combo is breath taking.
I am sure that our followers/visitors will be inspired by your creative work.
hugs, sharon w.
