I was browsing challenges yesterday before heading up to the stamp room and found 2 that I knew I could put together. Masculine is the theme at Inspire.Create.Challenge. And Global Design Project had a color challenge using Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide. Sounded like a good combo!
Below is what I came up with. Maybe not a wow, but it works!
I used the tractor image from the Heartland set stamped in Night of Navy on Crumb Cake. Behind that is a Stitched Frame square cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The background is Very Vanilla. I stamped the Burlap background at an angle in Crumb Cake after stamping off once. I also ran the background through the Big Shot with the Woodland Embossing Folder. Note: I didn't put it all the way in so the words would not be embossed. I sponged the edges lightly with Crumb Cake, and over the trees just a bit to accent. The Very Vanilla is attached to an accent layer of Night of Navy. The Burlap ribbon is attached on each side before layering onto the card base of Tranquil Tide.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope to be back soon, but can never say for sure! The weather has kept us home this weekend (cold with ice and snow!) but we do hope Spring arrives soon and we can work outside! Also trying to make progress in purging the stamp room!
