Hey all! Welcome back! I made it to the stamp room yesterday. Did some more sorting of old stuff, then took some time to make a card. Inspired by a color challenge, this is what I came up with!
The color challenge this week at Color Throwdown is Black, White and Aqua.
My colors are Bermuda Bay, Basic Black and Shimmery White. We have several colors that would have worked for this, but Bermuda has Stampin' Blends and I haven't used it for quite a while!! The set, Beautiful Day has become a go to for me. So pretty, so quick! I stamped the butterfly on a separate piece of Shimmery White and colored with the Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends. Light first, then accented with dark, then blended. I then cut the butterfly out, went over it all with my Wink of Stella clear glitter, and attached it to the card background with dimensionals. The ribbon is the 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon in Basic Black. The saying was stamped at the bottom in Bermuda Bay.
