Amazing Color & Contour

Hey all, back again! Two for two yesterday :) yeah me! All chores and to do's today but we'll see - I'm getting close to done for the day!

One of the Challenges I peaked at yesterday when looking around for ideas was the Colour Inkspiration Challenge on Facebook. I've been in that group for a while but just observing. This one though did inspire. Here is what I came up with

based on this challenge graphic

Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and White. Great combo! And many of the cards have been just the pop of color like the graphic. I went a little different with the flowers but it is a very basic card!

I chose Shimmery White cardstock for an upstep. Very pretty IRL! The Color & Contour set is one of my faves from the New Annual catalog. So quick and easy to use!! The coordinating die set makes it even better! The scalloped background layer was cut with that die set from Shimmery White card stock. I stamped the solid flower in Cherry Cobbler, then the accent outline in Tuxedo Black. I started with the saying in the center I guess, then added flowers around. Not too many! I put just a touch of Stella in the center of the flowers. The scallop background is attached to a Basic Black accent layer. I also added a Black Glittered Organdy ribbon and knotted it on top. Note it runs through the scallops at the side. Card base is Cherry Cobbler. You could pop one or more flowers, and add a layer with the saying if you wanted. As is, pretty quick and easy!
