Hey all, long time no see! I've been doing other things, like getting started on taxes and working on organization in the stamp room! Good news, progress has been made, and I really feel like I can sit down and start creating! Stamps still need work, but other things are in GREAT shape!!
I went down Friday afternoon and came out with several things complete! Here is one. I've been itching to give this new stamp set try! Elements of Text is a new online exclusive set and recently came into my possession! I paired it with Painted Lavender and a birthday saying from a retired set, Endless Birthday Wishes.
Card base is Gorgeous Grape with a Crumb Cake accent layer behind Very Vanilla. On the Vanilla, I stamped the circle text image in Crumb Cake, then stamped over in Gorgeous Grape for the flowers and Old Olive for the stems. I roughed the edges of both the Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake with a (retired) distressing tool then went over both with a sponge and Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the happy birthday off to the left side in Gorgeous Grape and added a knotted linen ribbon at the top of the stamp. Final accent, Antique Pearls. Love it!
