Lovely Friend

Hey, all! It has been a minute since I was here! Have been creating, just not getting things shared here! Let's start with this one from yesterday, and I'll try to do a few other posts and drop lots of cards in the next few days!

I have been playing along with a challenge: Card a day in May! I'm just a few behind,2 I think, yesterday and today. Each day has a theme! for the 27th, it was Friendship!

I recently got a couple of the new Shimmer Brushes. Think Wink of Stella, but with In Color! They are available in the 5 new In Colors. I grabbed Crisp Cantaloupe (LOVE that color!!) and got to work! Lovely Arrangements bundle, set and dies with the Lovely Blossoms DSP for the background. Crumb Cake pairs wonderfully with Crisp Cantaloupe. I cut the dots from Cantaloupe; the card base is also Cantaloupe as is the ribbon. Stamped the flowers with Black (the new Hybrid!), cut them with the die and then colored with just the Shimmer Brush. They curled a little bit and I don't hate it!! Used dimensionals to attach all and layer together. A few In Color dots are the final accent!
