Nice Stocking

Morning all, Happy November! There is another "card a day" challenge this month, Christmas themed this go around. I'm insane to even consider trying it but here we go!

Day 1 theme: Have Yourself a Mice Christmas. I've never had anything mice themed that I remember, and I didn't find anything in my cupboard or DSP stacks. So, I went with Nice! Several stamp options with the Naught/Nice theme!

Most of the items I used are retired, but current will be linked below. Card base is Real Red, stocking and saying are stamped in Real Red on Basic White. Background is DSP (old!) from the Candy Cane Christmas pack, but the red sparkle dots called to me :) The stocking piece is cut with a rectangle die from the Textured Notes dies, the square from the new Tile Garden dies. The stocking is from the retired Holiday Basics, the saying from Tags 'til Christmas. I was initially thinking of using eyelets on this, this set seems to call for them. But I think the peppermint dots work just as well! The fibers at the top are super old, we used to have something called "Fancy Fibers". This is from the bold pack. I cut a second "top" of the stocking, wrapped/attached fiber to it, then attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by today! And please, keep me accountable on this. I had tons of fun in May doing it!! Headed for more time in the stamp room, needs a good clean up and hopefully I can work ahead!
