Sunflower Stamper: Framed Violets

10/29/2026

Violet Birthday!

Morning all! Happy Thursday! Guess it isn't morning anymore here though! Oops! Here is a card I was inspired to make last week! See note below about sizes and 6x6 DSP!

Card base is Secret Sea. Accent layer of Highland Heather behind the Basic White panel. DSP prints on the white, reverse images of the same sheet. Flowers cut from Highland Heather with Peacefun Pine stems. Small white ribbon (retired) bow attached over stem. Saying in Secret Sea and Gorgeous Grape on Basic White retired punch. Darling Duckling sparkle dots in the center of the flowers!

Note on the DSP. This layout was designed (not by me!) to use 6x6 DSP. The dark piece is 3x3, the light 1x3. You can get 3 from one 6x6 piece of DSP! I started with a 12 x 12 and cut it into 4 pieces 6x6! Cut first in half at 3" so you now have 2 pieces 3x6. Cut both in half again at 3. You should now have 4 pieces that are 3x3. Take one and cut 3 strips at 1". There you go! Get to chopping - so much DSP, so little time :)

Thanks for stopping by! Links below for current products! I have one more thing to do in the kitchen before heading down to my room for the afternoon. Need to clean up and put some things away. It is really amazing how many "in process" things can accumulate on my desk!
