Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas all! Sorry for the gap in posts, we got busy! Traveled a bit for meetings for my husband, and I've been working on Christmas cards!! But the good news is we are very close to ready for Christmas! I'm finishing cleaning today, then have plans to bake some cookies! Everything is wrapped and we have plans for meals!!

Here are the cards we mailed this year, 4 different colors, to 109 family and friends! Yes that is alot but it feels good to have done it :)

The Season of Elegance DSP was the starting point, and the reason for the 4 colors. Each card is also different because of the print on the DSP! I saw a card in the Mini when it came out and I was inspired!! Colors are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Pretty Peacock. Each card has an embossed DSP background using the Painted Trees embossing folder. I stamped two trees for each card, the medium and large from Peaceful Evergreen and die cut them. I also die cut a banner using the Stylish Shapes die set and then stamped Merry Christmas from the Greetings of the Season set. The trees were attached to the base with dimensionals. Between the trees I added another dimensional and attached a gold twine ribbon (retired). Over that I added the banner with Mini Glue dots. Lastly, I added 5 gold dots. Misty Season

Hey all! A Christmas card to share today. I finally got one made for that challenge! Still hope to catch up the missed ones, but who knows if that will happen! Here is the card.

I choose a color I haven't used very much; Misty Moonlight and I really like it! Card base is Misty Moonlight, background of Basic White that I textured with an embossing folder. Trees were stamped on Basic White with Misty Moonlight and cut with the coordinating dies. The saying/die are the Greetings of the Season bundle (stamps and dies). The trees by the way are the Peaceful Evergreen bundle (stamps and dies). The trees and the saying were all attached with dimensionals. For accent, I added some gems to the trees and a ribbon with staple on the saying! Product details and shopping links below!!

Seasons Snowflake

Hey all, Happy Sunday! I've been inspired by a challenge from a friend. He is a fellow SU! Demo and is doing a "make a Christmas card every day in November" challenge. I'm still getting a handle on my stamp room and trying to make it manageable, but I figure you gotta start somewhere! Here is my first creation for a pre-challenge sketch challenge. Part of what I used is retired but you can always find something current that is similar. I'm betting most of you have stashes of stuff, just like I do!! :)

Card base is Misty Moonlight with a Very Vanilla background. On that background I stamped a retired set (Snow Burst) in Misty Moonlight, some full strength, some off once. Across the background is a (retired) Not Quite Navy striped ribbon. Over that is an embossed snowflake using the retired Northern Flury folder cut with a Starburst die. The flake was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. The saying from the current Greetings of the Season set and on a die from the coordinating die set. Buy the bundle, or each item separately! A few rhinestones accent the center of the snowflake and the tag!
