Great Guy!

Here is some Father's Day inspiration for you all! One of my cards from May, but deserving of it's own post!

Day 30 was Father's Day! I chose not to use those exact words but "to a great guy" works well instead. The Nature Walk Suite was perfect. Nature Walk DSP, Nature's Symphony stamps and coordinating dies. I chose a blended background, cut a leaf and a postage die for behind it, added some texture and linen thread and done! Mossy Meadow card base, accent of Balmy Blue. Leaf cut from Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake texture and Mossy Meadow for the saying

Nature's Smile

Morning all! Back with another Nature's Symphony card! Simple, yet wow! There are two below as they came out slightly different!

Not a huge difference, just a little on the placement of the stem!

I wanted colors that weren't green. Guess I didn't go far from that, but I like it. Pretty Peacock card base, accent of Lost Lagoon. Background is Basic Beige and I put that through the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. Stem image stamped in Pretty Peacock and cut with the coordinating die. Circle cut from Basic White with the Spotlight on Nature dies. Love the Smile saying from the Nature's Symphony set. Stem is attached with Mini dimensionals, the saying with regular dimensionals. Ribbon is the Gold Striped mesh. I tried Basic Beige but it wasn't enough of a pop. Then the accents, necessary because of the open space. They are "clear" from the Polished Dots set.

Full disclosure, I thought most things were current when I made this last week. Now, several seem to be gone. Last Chance lists came out yesterday. Nature's Symphony

I've had some play time with this new bundle - Nature's Symphony and I'm loving it! It is actually in the current Mini Catalog so it has been around for a bit but I'm just now getting to it! I have another card I'll share soon, but here is one I just made! Also loving these In Colors!! Cloud Cover and Secret Sea!!

Card base is Cloud Cover, accent layer of Secret Sea behind a background of Basic Beige. Basic Beige is still fairly new but I'm learning to like that too. White is sometimes too much, but Crumb Cake can be too dark! Leaf die cut of Secret Sea. Other image stamped on Basic White with Cloud Cover and cut with the coordinating die. The Basic Beige background was stamped with the texture image from the stamp set, some in Basic Beige, some in Cloud Cover. Some full strength, some stamped off once. I then textured that whole panel with the Forever Plaid 3D folder. The rectangle for the saying is from the Perennial Postage die set and edges were sponged with a dauber in Cloud Cover. In Color Flat Pearl accents in Cloud Cover as well! Secret Sea ribbon.
