Hey all! I decided to play a little tonight in the hope of getting some mojo flowing! Need to come up with four projects for Open House next weekend. YIKES! Spent more time on this than I should have, but I successfully combined two challenges with this card!!
Great fall colors, right?? and LOVE these images from Summer Silhouettes!! The challenges: Create with Connie and Mary CCMC222 with the colors Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green & Chocolate Chip. And Freshly Made Sketches FMS56 with the sketch.
I really like this sketch-you may be seeing it again!! My card base is Summer Starfruit. I textured the upper portion of it with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder in the Big Shot. The strip across is Chocolate Chip card stock with a Chocolate Chip stripe DSP layered on. A Summer Starfruit ribbon is knotted around. In the bottom right corner of the card front I stamped 'Happiness' from the Loving Thoughts set in Chocolate Chip. The images from Summer Silhouettes were stamped on Whisper White. Several of the flowers were cut out and raised for dimension. The Gumball Green layer is centered with the card, but is under the Chocolate Chip strip across. The Whisper White with Summer Starfruit accent layer is attached over the Gumball Green and the Chocolate Chip.
