Sunflower Stamper: Swirly Bird

One more wreath card from the Stamparatus.

Still super cool right?? This one was a 3-1/2" square. Almost too big for a card front this size, but would be awesome on a square card of 4 or 5 inch size. Colors are Highland Heather, So Saffron and Whisper White. Card base is Highland Heather. Background of So Saffron was textured with the Seaside Embossing Folder. The wreath was stamped with Highland Heather in the large circle swirl. I then added a smaller solid circle and flower inside the swirl. That square is layered onto Highland Heather. The Hello from Jar of Fun fit perfectly on a 1-1/4" circle, layered onto a 1-1/2" circle it was was the perfect accent for the center of the wreath. Polka Dot Tulle ribbon knotted at the bottom is the final accent.

Just For You

Howdy all! Never back as soon as I'd like, but I guess once per week is better than none at all!! Here is a card I started over week ago, and just got around to the final tweaks today. It wasn't quite right the first time, but I hadn't been able to get back upstairs and adjust it.

This was for a color challenge that I found using Smoky Slate, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. Always drawn to Lemon Lime Twist! This was a bit of a tough combo as three of those are neutrals. I reached for my previously unused Swirly Bird and coordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits set. I chose two of the Swirly images, and the splatter dots for the background. The solid swirl is in Smoky Slate, the open in Lemon Lime, the dots in Crumb Cake on a Whisper White background. I sponged the edge with Crumb Cake before layering onto a Smoky Slate layer. A Whisper White ribbon accents the Swirly Scribbles in both Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White. The saying is from Work of Art and was stamped using the stamp-a-ma-jig on a 1-1/4" punched circle of Whisper White. I layered that onto Smoky Slate (1-3/8"), added a die cut flower and attached with dimensionals. Three other die cut flowers accent the background as well.

All in all, I like how it came out. Will definitely be using this set again! Like the background possibilities and the Swirly Scribbles!
