Also a reminder that TODAY is the LAST day to get items for the 2022/2023 Annual Catalog and 2023 Mini Catalog!
Tomorrow is the start of the NEW Annual Catalog! I will get links up as soon as I can, but I am working the rest of the week so it may be evening before I can get to it!! But everything will be live in the Online Store beginning at 3 am (MT)!!
Hey all! Look - a card!! We are always crazy busy, but we stayed home this weekend and got some things done. We started on outside clean-up work last weekend and it is mostly done - yeah! Even a big extra project done! There is always more to do, but it got super windy yesterday so inside seemed a much better choice!! I am working on an overall purge of the stamp room and progress was made there as well. So, last night I decided to give the one new stamp set I ordered a try!
Oh, and in addition to purging in general, I've sorted out the old colors and added all the new that I have to my markers, ink pads, blends and cardstock. Always feels better when I can just reach and know that all is current!
The new set is Cheerful Daisies-page 111 in the new catalog! You all know I'm a sucker for flowers! I only preordered this one set, and I have very few remaining after the retired list hit, but that is OK! I'm sure I'll pick out a few more, but I'm really trying to keep it simple until I get a handle on this room! Here is the card!
The card is quite simple as well. New color for the base, Pecan Pie. I like this brown, it is softer than Soft Suede. Accent of Daffodil Delight, Basic White background. I stamped three large daisies in Basic Gray. I then grabbed blending brushes. It is a little spotty as I haven't done this for a while, but Pecan Pie across the top, Basic Gray across the bottom, Daffodil Delight across the center, and Lemon Lolly over the flowers. The center of the flowers was stamped in Daffodil Delight. Over the flowers and centers, I used Stella (Wink of Stella glitter brush). The saying is from this set a, stamped in Pecan Pie and then cut with a die in the coordinating set as well. I bought the bundle!
My inspiration for this is a picture on the wall in my stamp room. As I sat there last night with this set on my desk it caught my eye! And I of course saw it in Stampin' up! colors! I have another idea as well, we'll see if I can get there today. I hear wind again outside, so will likely be upstairs once I get past bills and laundry! Here is the picture!
I should have gotten a more straight-on shot but I didn't! Keep an eye out - inspiration is always right there!! Have a GREAT Sunday all! Hope to be back soon!
Product details that I can are linked below. New colors and sets I can't do yet! As I said the Cheerful Daisies bundle is on page 111. New colors are detailed on 122 and 123!

Brights
Howdy all! Nice sunny day here - hoping it keeps me moving and working on that to do list (that I can't find!!) Oh well!
We have NEW catalogs and lots of **FUN** things available today!!
First, the NEW Mini Catalog is LIVE!! There is a link below to view the catalog online (you can download from there as well) and a link to shop! Great new sets, accessories, papers!!
Hey, all! Happy New Year!! A little creativity for me to get it started - yeah! I've had a desk calendar for several years that started with a Paper Pumpkin kit. I've recreated it several times, but it required a pdf for the "calendar" part that someone else created. That is a skill I do not have so went looking for other options. I'll drop a couple of the previous ones below!! So this year, I found a printable 2023 one page calendar (thank you Pinterest!)
I knew I wanted to use the upcoming SAB item, Dainty Flowers DSP. Gorgeous paper, so very little stamping! I still have the set from the Paper Pumpkin for the months and accents on dates. Here is a look at the calendar sitting on my desk.
And the side view
I picked 6 colors from the DSP pack and cut two bases of each color. Then I pulled several of the DSP sheets and started cutting. That is always tough to make that first cut! First up, the "large flower" print. Love this and it was also hard to cover most of it up! Note, click the pics to enlarge if you need to see more details. I wasn't up to scanning/cleaning up 12 pictures so I cheated and did groups of 3 :)
Starry Sky, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry. The color rectangle is from the Scalloped Contours die set and I then cut the white rectangle to sit just inside the dotted line. The calendar part is a little bigger than I would have preferred, but it was already printed and cut before I realized that and I was NOT starting over! I put a coordinating ribbon under each and added a few accents in the open areas.
Next, an all-over flower print.
These are pretty simple and sweet! Coordinating ribbon, no accents needed as the background as filled with flowers! Fresh Freesia, Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry.
Same for the next group, a smaller all over flower print. Simple ribbon accent was all that was needed.
Rich Razzleberry, Starry Sky and Old Olive.
Lastly, one of the prints was a scatter/blot and I love those. Also great for variety!
