Royalty Flowers

This week's challenge at Stampin' Royalty was to use our punches. So, that's what I did. I wasn't feeling overly creative tonight after a long weekend, so I went with the flowers using the Scallop Circle punch. I've seen and loved these for quite a while, but never took time to make any. So, here is my card:

Regal Rose again, sorry I can't seem to get away from it! I was thinking Coneflowers, and this is the closest pink I could get. The card base is Regal Rose. Background is Very Vanilla textured with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, leaving the oval open in the middle. LMK if you need to know how to do that! I grabbed the Stem Sayings set and chose the "what can i say? you made my day!" saying for the stems. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the placement I wanted. The center stem has the full saying, the side two just the "you made my day!". The flowers were punched from Regal Rose using the Scallop Circle punch. I also ran them through the Big Shot using the embossing folder. I then cut into the center of each to make petals. In the center is a Chocolate Chip corduroy brad with embroidery thread in the center. I found my "stash" of thread from the cross stitch days and pulled out one that looked Regal Rose! Buttons were attached with glue dots (2 mini) and the flowers were attached with dimensionals.

Hope you've all been enjoying the Royal Blog Tour!! Welcome to those of you who have decided to join me on a regular basis! I'm feeling like a Rock Star with all the comments and hits!!! Have a great week all!!!!!
