Sketch Frenzy Friday 021111

Friday means time for another Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge and mini tour!  Here is my creation

based on this sketch by Sharon Field

I used the Nature Walk set today. I scanned through my catalog to see what would "fit" the sketch, and settled on this one. My card base is Elegant Eggplant with a background layer of the First Edition DSP. On the DSP I lightly stamped (by stamping off once) the butterfly and flower image. I sponged the edge of the DSP with More Mustard. Around the DSP I knotted a Victoria Crochet Trim. The main image is also the flower image and butterfly, stamped full strength on Very Vanilla. I inked the flower and stem with the More Mustard and Garden Green markers. The butterfly was stamped in Elegant Eggplant and colored with More Mustard (some marker, some blender pen) and Elegant Eggplant. I sponged the edge lightly with Elegant Eggplant and layered it onto More Mustard and Elegant Eggplant. The "thanks" is from the Thank You Kindly set and was stamped in Elegant Eggplant on Very Vanilla and punched with the Designer Label punch. I added another lightly stamped flower/stem image and sponged with Elegant Eggplant. Behind this I added  More Mustard 1-3/8" circle and attached with dimensionals.

NOTE: I just noticed my "More Mustard" layer behind the main image is So Saffron. OOPS! Obviously I was tired when working on this!! Too late to "fix" so just imagine its More Mustard :)

I love your stamping on the printed paper - such a nice accent. And then you carried it through to the sentiment panel! It's a beautiful card!
