Sunflower Stamper: More sunflowers!

More sunflowers!

This wonderful folder is still on my desk and I might not put it away :) Hoping to spend time in my room today as it is far too cold to leave the house! But for now, here are a couple cards I mailed to friends early last week for birthdays.

These use the NEW Two-Tone Cardstock in Crushed Curry. See how one is darker (left)? This is 12 x 12 paper. Called cardstock but is lighter weight than that, probably heavier than DSP though. But it also has a white core! Hello sanding block! Here is a closer up of the darker one!

I embossed the Two-Tone cardstock in the folder. Depending which side you want raised, note how you are putting the paper in the folder! Good news though, it works either way! Once embossed, lightly go over with a sanding block. Be gentle, some of the raised edges will catch. It will accent parts of the flower and petals. LOVE!! Note, we no longer have sanding blocks available but you likely have one if you've been crafting for a while. If not, I'm sure you can find one "out there".

And, this paper comes in ALL the colors! and I do mean all! It also comes in variety packs! Check the different suites for options! I bought Crushed Curry in the full pack and a couple of variety packs as well for options! There are lots of embossing folders (current and retired!) that would be awesome with this technique! Check your stash :)

Card base is Thick Basic White, accent layer of Secret Sea. Banner from Stylish Shapes and a retired Happy Birthday saying. Secret Sea ribbon knotted behind the banner.
