Cajun Daisy Hello

Hello all, Happy Wednesday. A bit cooler here this morning but likely not for long. Summer has arrived with a vengeance! Garden is growing well but flowers are pretty beat up from bugs, wind and heat. Sharing some more DSP cards I recently created! From the same paper pack as the previous set, Fresh as a Daisy.

12 cards from 2 sheets of the same print. Cajun Craze is the background color, with Pretty Peacock and Crushed Curry accents.

I went with a Cajun Craze card base and Pretty Peacock accent layer. The ribbon is Cajun Craze for accent. The saying "label" was cut from the (retired) Tasteful Labels die set and stamped with the (retired) Biggest Wish set. This is a fun one to mix/match sayings. Notice they say the same but with different fonts. It includes 2 of each saying, one in a larger block format, one in a small cursive.

Thanks all for stopping by today! Hope to be back soon with cards from last weekend's Creativity Now and maybe some new creations too! Time to work on July birthday cards, and there is always more DSP and other supplies to use up!!

Quiet Thanks

Hey all, back again! I was playing with thank you card ideas the other day and this is one I came up with. Unfortunately, it has a retired set on it- Watercolor Shapes for the rectangle (sorry, my room is a hot mess!!!). There are several ways to get a rectangle like this background though. Think stamp block like my previous card, or cut a rectangle die and use that!

Card base is Crumb Cake, accent layer is Copper Clay (nice new color!!), background Very Vanilla. I stamped the rectangle from Watercolor Shapes in Petal Pink center of the background, then the flower image over that in Copper Clay. The splatter image was stamped off once in Crumb Cake and then onto the background around the image. I grabbed my Wink of Stella and added some Petal Pink ink to the flowers so they sparkle. Center of the flowers is a Copper Clay Gem. Ribbon is also Copper Clay and knotted around the back under the thanks rectangle. The thanks is from Biggest Wish, the rectangle from the Deckled Rectangles die set.

Flowing Flowers Friend

Howdy all. Made it to the stamp room last night! Finished up something that was already started on the desk. Flowing Flowers is a GREAT set in the current mini catalog. I do NOT think it is carrying over, BTW, so get it if you like it! Very pretty flowers from all the images!!

I had an old color challenge that had Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. Love the concept! And I had seen a card with a similar layout somewhere online? Here is the first one.

Card base of Daffodil Delight. Accent of Basic Gray behind Basic White. Basic stamping here, #simplestamping. No additional layers for the center greeting. I had stamped around the edge of the Basic White, I assume with the Smoky Slate as that is the lighter color. I then came in with Daffodil delight more towards the center. I did the Hello from Biggest Wish in Smoky Slate, the friend in Basic Gray. Accents of Rhinestones that I colored Daffodil with my Blend. *note this is VERY hard on the tips!! Retired Daffodil ribbon knotted around.

And another, trying it with more Gray.

More Gray, and I realized when I scanned that the first has smaller cut layers so more of the Daffodil shows around the edge. May have to modify, as that would soften the gray! This one I did Basic Gray first, then Smoky Slate, then Daffodil flowers. Hello again in Smoky Slate, friend in Basic Gray. Don't hate it but maybe a little less cheery with less yellow? Ribbon the other say, more Daffodil Rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by today. Another project to share likely tomorrow. No idea when stamping next - gotta get the taxes done :( Product details and shopping links below.

Coastal Thanks

Hey, all! Happy weekend! Hoping you're doing something fun :) Not much here, yet anyway. Feels like I cooked most of yesterday. Good news is I won't have to today or maybe tomorrow!

Here is a card I made and mailed several of last week, thank you cards to all who purchased from me last year. I try to do cards monthly but don't always get it done. This is a good way to get back in to stamping at the start of the year! This is similar to the birthday card I shared last week. Same idea, different colors and words.

Coastal Cabana base, Basic Black accent layer, Basic White background. I stamped the Painted Poppies solid flower image in Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape and Melon Mambo. Over those I stamped the outline flower in Memento Tuxedo Black. The splatter images are also from Painted Poppies and done around the flowers in Coastal Cabana. The "thanks" is from the Biggest Wish set and also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. Coastal sequins in varied sizes are scattered around the flowers for the final touch.

Details and shopping links below. Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you get some stamping time in your weekend! Hopefully me too after some office work this morning.
