Painted Petal CTD541

Hey all! Found some creating time tonight! Perfect way to end a productive day!

I have a whole stack of challenge ideas sitting up by my stamp table, some of which have been around for a while. This one was on top of the stack and is the current challenge at Color Throwdown. They always have GREAT color combos!! #CTD541

Here is my card

Based on this challenge to use Pale Pink, Brown, Black and White.

My colors are Petal Pink, Soft Suede, and Memento Black. Painted Harvest caught my eye- image that! My go to set when I've been away for a while!! The background is Shimmery White cardstock. Card base is Petal Pink with a Soft Suede accent layer. I stamped both of the "petal" layers of Painted Harvest in Petal Pink. Center is Soft Suede. Center dots are black. Some background dots are black stamped off once and twice. Also some Soft Suede stamped off once and twice. Edges sponged in Soft Suede. Ribbon from the Occasions Catalog. Saying from Southern Serenade, cut out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelit. Accent layer of Soft Suede behind the rectangle, attached over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Southern Serenade #CTD530

Hey all! Welcome!! So excited to get to play along with the team at Color Throwdown this week for Challenge #CTD530 as a previous Featured Stamper! Here are the challenge colors of Fuchsia, Light Gray and Black.

And the card I came up with.

In Stampin' Up! Colors this is Lovely Lipstick, Gray Granite and Basic Black. I flipped through many stamp sets before settling on this one but I like how it came out. My "light gray" wasn't so light though and that was a bit of an issue. The lace image was stamped off once and then onto the Whisper White background in Gray Granite. Over that I stamped the floral image in Tuxedo Black Memento. I colored the leaves/stem with the regular marker in Gray Granite, and the flowers in Stampin' Blend Lovely Lipstick light and dark. Clear Wink of Stella gave me a little shimmer on the flowers and **bonus** I found embellishments to match! Basic Black Faceted Dots for the center of the flowers! Lovely Lipstick 1/8" grosgrain three times around the bottom under the "thank you" circles attached with Mini Dimensionals.

Southern Serenade Razzleberry

Hello all! Hope you had a GREAT Easter! We had snow which made it feel more like Christmas! But the sun came out about 3:00 and started melting. Dreary out today but it isn't snowing!

Needed to create something last night after working on taxes for awhile in the afternoon. Reached for this new to me set, Southern Serenade from the Occasions Mini. I've seen some cute stuff with it! Here is my first attempt.

May have to do another as this isn't quite what I was after! It's OK, just not Wow! The lace background was stamped with Crumb Cake and came out darker than I wanted. Probably in part because I recently reinked the pad. Should have stamped off once, or gone with Smoky Slate. I then stamped the flower over in Basic Black. I was going to color with regular markers, then decided Blends might be better. So Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive, light and dark. Hint of Stella in the center of the flowers. Black Shimmer ribbon and Thank you at the bottom. This set has several useful sayings in it!

Thanks for stopping by today! Product details and shopping link below. I'll be adding a host code this morning for April. remember the Occasions Catalog goes through May 1.

Retirement lists are coming out soon! The 2016-2018 In Colors we know are going away so if you want any of those items, get them now! They sometimes sell out VERY quickly!!
