Sunflower Seed 1-Weather or Not

Finally, I'm back. This week completely got away from me (again, I know!). It is still "this week" though! LOL!

I'm going to do 2 Sunflower Seeds in honor of my blogaversary!! I'll post in two separate posts so comments can be entered separate for each. You may enter each once, by leaving a comment. Since it's a holiday weekend, I'll leave this open til 1 pm Tuesday, Central Time. Winners will be drawn then.

First is the set Weather or Not, new unmounted. This was a Hostess Appreciation set from back when SU! did a special set for Hostesses with $400 or more in workshop sales. It's been hanging out on my shelf for quite a while and needs a new, loving home!!

Let's see, a topic for comments. Tell how you would use this set, or for what occasion. Remember, closing at 1 pm (Central Time) Tuesday, March 25.

I'll go first again...ha ha!

Happy blogaversary...good for you in keeping it up!

I like the mitts...I saw a card that used hemp, little clothespins and mitts to make a winter card (mitts out on the clothesline)...too fun!

I like the mitts and hearts right off the bat and think they'd make great cards for Christmas and Valentines day as borders or accents.
Congratulations on the blogaversary!

The umbrellas would be great to use for shower invitations. Of course, the hearts would be nice for Valentine's Day. The mittens for winter cards.
Happy Blogaversary to you!

I would use the umbrellas for a get well card--with the sentiment "under the weather". Of course, there would be stickle raindrops above the umbrella.

I love the umbrellas...the perfect "happy spring" card for Oregonians!!! They're all so cute...it would be great to have all the different hearts all over a Valentine card too!

Big Congrats! Oh love this set so many possibilities. perfect set for page borders, the mittens would be sweet on a recipe card with a favorite hot winter drink attached to a cloth pouch filled with the ingredients. The umbrellas would be perfect as a tag attached to a lovely gift basket with shower gels, etc

Many of my holiday cards are really witer cards so the mitts would be great for that. I don't tell my friends and family I love them enough, so I could use the hearts for that. Thanks!

First off, Happy Blogversary! :) I adore this set...there are sooo many possibilities! The mittens would be cute for a xmas card...I have four children so each would have his/her own design on the card! The hearts would be wonderful for any card/alterable that needed to say I LOVE YOU, and the umbrellas would fit into any 'shower' theme...or get well... and I love the idea mochamama had about a gift tag attached to shower gels... :)
Thank you for the chance at some awesome blog candy!

I'd use this set to make cards for my favorite project, www.cardsforheroes.org The cards are sent to the troops who pick out what they want and then send them to their loved ones at home.

oh my gosh is there still time to enter this one?? I totally LOVE it! all those little umbrellas are too neat. What occasion? hmm, well the umbrellas are really good for any time of the year for cards for my mom as it rains all the time where she lives ;) The hearts are good for embellishments on lots of cards. Mittens are of course super for winter cards, I can see those in all four corners on any type of greeting.

I think that set would be great for weddings, love and even christmas (hearts) The umbrella's has me thinking spring, and "under the weather/ Get Well Soon I think this set has lots of potential.

Congratulations! I'm into christmascards lately, so I especially like the mitts. The hearts I could use for wedding cards. And the purses I'd use for birthday cards for someone who likes shopping!

I remember this set. Oh, how I wanted it! I would use it year round on the bottom's of cards, depending on the season, with a sentiment and ribbon on the top, lots of stitching or piercing and ribbon(or yarn for the mittens) and some of those clear raindrops on the umbrellas.

Congratulations on your blogaversary!

What a great set. There have been some awesome ideas for these stamps. Another idea for the umbrella border is to stamp something with the "April Showers Bring May Flowers" theme. I also have so many shoe stamps..so what goes better with shoes? A purse border, of course. Thanks for sharing some great blog candy.

Happy Blogaversary and Easter Blessings as well! The umbrellas have reminded me to pack my umbrella because I'm heading for the Oregon coast this week and they are predicting rain:)

Happy Blogaversary!
What a cute stamp set...thanks for the chance to win. The purses would make such a cute card for girlfriends...add the sentiment... "Friends are like Purses ~
They're handy to have around,
You can never have too many,
You don't want to lose them,
And you can't live without them.
Thanks for being my friend!"

Happy blogaversary and thank you for the chance to win the great blog candy! I see so many uses for this stamp set- as borders for holiday cards (mittens-Christmas, hearts- Valentine's day), as accents for shower cards (umbrellas- baby and bridal showers), and I loved the phrase that Brenda left in her comment to use with the purses on cards for girlfriends!
