Now, on to the projects! I used items from the Holiday Mini for all my projects!

First up is this fun card featuring the French Foliage set and using the Emboss Resist technique. Very doable in a workshop setting! Card base is Cherry Cobbler. The background is Naturals Ivory Card Stock that I first stamped leaves on with Versamark and embossed with Clear powder. I sponged ink over the leaves in Early Espresso, More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler. I also sponged Early Espresso around the outside edge. I tied a Satin Early Espresso ribbon around the center of the background and attached to the card base. For the saying, I first stamped the staying from Seasonal Sentiments in Espresso on Naturals Ivory. I then stamped the roundish leaf with Versamark and embossed with Clear powder. I sponged some More Mustard ink over it, then a little Cherry Cobbler for more definition. Espresso was sponged around the edge before layering on Cherry Cobbler and attaching with dimensionals over the ribbon. I love this technique and it's always a hit!!

Next up is this card using the Christmas Postcard stamp from the Holiday Mini. Now, all who know me well know I am not a fan of coloring!  But, what I did on this ended up working quite well and NOT being stressful! The card base is Early Espresso that I textured with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder. Next I cut two Oval Scallop Frames with the Big Shot, one in Cherry Cobbler, one in Naturals Ivory. I kept the Cherry frame and Ivory oval. I textured the frame also with the Peals-a-Plenty folder. On the oval, I stamped my image with Early Espresso Craft Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. For some reason, this makes it easier to color. Giving the image definition I think is part of it. I used a blender pen and Classic ink to color: Cherry Cobbler for the Holly Berries, Poinsettias & ribbon, More Mustard for the bells, and Always Artichoke for the Holly leaves and pine boughs. The oval is attached directly to the center of the card, the Cherry oval around it with dimensionals.

Next up is this fun card! It really sparkles in real life, but goes together quite quick! The card base is Real Red. Background is Shimmery White that was embossed with the Northern Flurry folder in the Big Shot. To the embossing I added glimmer brads in Real Red to the smaller snowflakes. To the large snowflake, I added a Real Red button from the Candy Cane Big Designer Button set. The button has Clear Tinsel Trim tied in the center. A Real Red Satin ribbon is knotted around near the bottom, also with Clear Tinsel trim tied around the knot. The "dec 25" if from the Tags til Christmas set and was stamped in Real Red on Shimmery white and punched with the fabulous new Decorative Label punch. I punched two more labels from Real Red to mat the Shimmery White one. The labels are applied with dimensionals to sit over the ribbon. Quick, easy and WOW!! and, just about any color would work!

Lastly, I decided on a non-traditional color for a Christmas Card. Purple is a favorite of mine so I grabbed Elegant Eggplant. Someday I would love to have a tree decorated in this color!! Card base is Elegant Eggplant, background is Very Vanilla stamped in Elegant Eggplant with the Christmas Collage background stamp. The scallop square of Elegant Eggplant was cut with the new Scallop Squares Duo die. A square of Very Vanilla sits inside that, with a strip of Champagne Glass Glitter across the top and bottom.  Quick and easy-just put Sticky Strip across the top and bottom and apply the glitter! The ornament is 3D which is also quick and easy to do! Stamp 3 ornaments on Very Vanilla with Eggplant and punch with the Ornament punch. Score each down the middle and attach together. You have one in the center, it looks flat from the front, and one on each side. Attach to the Vanilla layer with glue dots and it's done.

That Northern Flurry card takes the cake, and now I'm kicking myself for not getting the clear tinsel when I ordered the silver!
