Card two from the weekend! This one was fairly quick and easy too. In part because of coordinating stamps and Framelits!
The colors: Midnight Muse & Shimmery White. Love Shimmery White for Christmas!! Card base is Midnight Muse with the background Shimmery White that was embossed with the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder. This folder has great detail-all kinds of Christmas items are worked into that pattern!! The ornament from Ornament Keepsakes was stamped 3 times on another sheet of Shimmery White and cut out in the Big Shot with the coordinating Framelit Die from the Holiday Ornaments set. After cutting we used the Simply Scored to score each ornament down the center. Hint: I colored one of the recessed lines on my Simply Scored with the Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker (p. 19 Holiday Mini). This helps in centering the top and bottom of the ornament on the same line!! I was having issues before!!
After scoring and folding well using the Bone Folder, attach the three ornaments together. You should have one that lays fairly flat across the front, and one attached one each side. You should have a flat back to attach to the card base, half from each of the side ornaments. Hopefully that is a little clearer than mud! Sit down and do one and I think you'll see what I mean. Before attaching the ornament, attached a small piece of Midnight Muse ribbon over the top of the card, to the back of the background layer. Attach your ornament as desired over the ribbon, centering on the embossed background as desired. Tie another piece of Midnight Muse ribbon into a bow and attach to the ornament with a Glue Dot. The saying is from More Merry Messages and was punched with the Large Oval Punch. Attach to the card base with dimensionals.
