Finally-card four from Open Houses last weekend!! I decided to show everyone the Triple Time technique that is so fun yet easy!! I started playing with colors, looking for a Fall feel, and ended up with this!
Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade. The stamp set used is Betsy's Blossom and the saying is from Curly Cute. Remember the trick to this?? Start by layering all your Whisper White pieces together. Attach them with just a little bit of Snail adhesive. Stamp as desired with all the layers together. We started by doing the saying first at the bottom of the center layer. And, we made sure to leave an Indigo flower in the center of that layer for a brad accent. I like to stamp the larger images first, then work my way to the smaller. I did the large Daffodil flowers, then the Limeade leaves and Indigo flowers, and finally filled in with the small Daffodil flowers.
When you take them apart and layer on their Island Indigo layer you get a WOW!!! effect! One thing to note: while stamping, you will get some spots at the edges that don't look wonderful. But, remember you are adding an Indigo layer to the back of each Whisper White. Those "spots" won't show!! This sizes of the layers are
Whisper White Island Indigo
2 x 3-1/4 2-1/4 x 3-1/2
3 x 4-1/4 3-1/4 x 4-1/2
4 x 5-1/4 4-1/4 x 11 (base, folded to 4-1/4 x 5)
The final accent is a Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon that we tied into a bow and attached with a Glue Dot.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a GREAT weekend on tap! Looks to be a football day here! Our Kansas State Wildcats have a big game this afternoon, and Hubby's office has a Husker tailgate before their game this evening.
