Misty and Curry Birthdays!

Howdy all! Got some time in the stamp room yesterday, and even a little time to create once I put things away and restored order! I am NOT letting this room get away:) I am slowly purging the stash and trying super hard not to over accumulate anymore!

I reached for my basket of goodies from the 12 days of Crafting Advent kit. Love the prints on the DSP. Truly, most all SU! DSP is GREAT, but the soft florals in this kit are awesome! These cards are for my twin nieces and hitting the mail today! Two versions, same background, colors flipped. One of them used to really like yellow, hoping that is till the case!

This one is a Crushed Curry card base with an accent layer of Misty Moonlight.

This one is the opposite, Misty Moonlight card base with an accent layer of Crushed Curry.

The background DSP print is pretty much all that is needed for these cards to be a WOW! So pretty! I found a die in my stash (from the Tasteful Labels die set) that would fit the saying, Birthday wishes, from the 12-day Advent Calendar stamp set. I stamped the saying first in Misty Moonlight, then added a flower with Crushed Curry, stamped off once. Center of the flower full strength. I sponged the edge of the die with Misty Moonlight and attached over a ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals. Ribbons are retired but coordinating colors. I added a few Antique Pearls for accent.
