Autumn Days returns!

Here I go again, apologizing for not posting! No excuses, just haven't been stamping. Hope to find my MOJO this weekend and get a few projects done. Need to do some cleaning around here too! It's raining tonight, so maybe that will keep me indoors tomorrow!!

Had to stamp a quick card last night-a get well for a young man who's been sidelined with a football injury. I automatically went back to Autumn Days-my current favorite set for masculine cards! This is a quick and simple card, but I do like the way it came out. The card base is Chocolate Chip and I stamped around the edge of it with the pine cone image in Chocolate Chip. The Top Note is cut from Naturals Ivory cardstock and stamped with the stem images, the shorter in More Mustard, the taller in Old Olive. I did some full strength across the card with each, then came back lower with the stamped off image. Sponged the edges lightly with More Mustard. The pheasant was stamped in Chocolate Chip on a small piece of Naturals Ivory and thumped with the More Mustard & Old Olive markers (that barely showed-the Chocolate Chip was too dark). The saying once again is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I used the same layering trick as before-cut the Old Olive punch is half and layer behind. Vintage brads on the saying and "points" of the Top Note are the final accent!

Thanks for stopping by-I hope to be back soon!
