Autumn Splendor Poppin' Pastels

This is my most recent swap creation. Of course I always wait until the last minute to get them going, so I was up way to late last night getting these done! Cutting leaves late into the night wasn't very fun! and I'm calling it a day here shortly to make up some lost sleep! You'd think I would learn!!

I broke out another "old" technique for this one-Poppin' Pastels. It's a simple one that I should do more often. A little messy in bulk, but not bad. For the technique, ink your image with the Versamark ink and stamp onto your cardstock. Grab a sponge dauber for several coordinating colors and your Stampin' Pastels. I used Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, More Mustard and Taken with Teal. Rub the dauber on the color desired, dab it onto the versamark which will catch it. I will try to get a more detailed explanation on here when I'm not too tired to think straight! For now, click on the pic to zoom in to see the details! The colors coordinate perfectly with the Autumn Meadows DSP. The first leaf is stamped on a layer of Very Vanilla, the second is cut out, curled and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. You can't see the curl in the scan, but it gives great dimension!

Later. Off to catch some zzzzz's!

Awesome card! Think that the hours and hours of hand cutting the leaves was definitely worth it! They wouldn't have had the splendid effect otherwise.
