Butterflies #TGIFC210

Good Morning all! More stamping time for me last night! This time the color challenge at TGIF Challenges caught my eye.


#TGIFC210 Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Pool Party.

The card above has Pool Party as the base, the one below Petal Pink. I couldn't decide so I did one of each!! And I really like them both!


I reached for the Butterfly Gala and Beauty Abounds sets. Crumb Cake is the accent layer behind a Whisper White background. On the background I stamped the large circles in Crumb Cake, small circles in either Pool Party or Petal Pink, splatters in all 3 colors- some stamped off once. Butterflies were stamped on a separate piece of Whisper White and then punched. I colored them with sponge daubers - Petal Pink in the center, Pool Party around the edge. I also brushed them with Wink of Stella. It doesn't show in the scans but is very pretty in real life!

Poppy Rose

Hey, all...Happy Saturday! My weekend is off to a great start! I hope yours is too :)

Spent some time stamping last night and pulled out the stamps from the April Paper Pumpkin that I shared earlier this week. Love that rose! And the set has great sayings too! Here is the card I created


And a full shot of the stamp set for reference.

There are many Stampin' Up! Colors that this would work for. I started with my Poppy Parade striped ribbon and pulled the cardstock and ink from there. Poppy Parade card base, Basic Black accent layer, Whisper White background stamped with Poppy roses. The striped ribbon was to busy for these roses, so I colored some Silver 3/8" Metallic Ribbon with my Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend. The ribbon is White with a silver edge, so it works with ANY color!! Quick and easy too :) The Epoxy dots in the center of the flowers were left over from a different Paper Pumpkin that I will share soon. Perfect for the flowers! Saying was stamped in Memento Black and cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I added a Basic Black accent layer then attached with Stampin' Dimensionals over the ribbon.

Painted Petal CTD541

Hey all! Found some creating time tonight! Perfect way to end a productive day!

I have a whole stack of challenge ideas sitting up by my stamp table, some of which have been around for a while. This one was on top of the stack and is the current challenge at Color Throwdown. They always have GREAT color combos!! #CTD541

Here is my card


Based on this challenge to use Pale Pink, Brown, Black and White.


My colors are Petal Pink, Soft Suede, and Memento Black. Painted Harvest caught my eye- image that! My go to set when I've been away for a while!! The background is Shimmery White cardstock. Card base is Petal Pink with a Soft Suede accent layer. I stamped both of the "petal" layers of Painted Harvest in Petal Pink. Center is Soft Suede. Center dots are black. Some background dots are black stamped off once and twice. Also some Soft Suede stamped off once and twice. Edges sponged in Soft Suede. Ribbon from the Occasions Catalog. Saying from Southern Serenade, cut out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelit. Accent layer of Soft Suede behind the rectangle, attached over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

April Paper Pumpkin

Hey all! Long time, no see! I made it to the stamp room tonight and actually acomplished something so I thought I would share! The April Paper Pumpkin!! First one in a very long time that I have completed!
 
Here is where we start: with the happy box that arrives in your mail box!


Inside the box you first find the stamp set and ink spot. The kit is always wrapped inside pretty blue tissue.


Under the blue tissue is the shrink wrapped kit that shows you what the project will be. This is the Distinktive one "Sentimental Rose'"


Next a look at everything in the kit. Everything you need is here!


A closer look at the tag sheet


Most everything is die-cut and pre-printed for quick and easy assembly! Below are the 3 cards, the kit made 3 of each. It also had an acetate box to put them in which I passed on making. Would be great as a gift though! My cards went in my box to have to use.




All of the card bases were printed, along with the inside of coordinating envelopes. All the greeting were stamped by me. And I has several to choose from. I like the stamp set and hope to play with it a little more soon! The top one has "splatters" of color printed. I stamped the flower and leaves. The next one the flowers were all printed, I just added the stamped leaves. Bottom one again had color, I stamped the flower and leaves. Layer together, add embellishments and done!

Retirement Lists ETC!!

Hey all. Never quite ready for these, but here we go. Remember, there are usually some GREAT new goodies to replace retiring ones :)

First, let me remind you all that Stampin' Up! is changing stamp set types for the red rubber stamps. Clear-mount and Wood-mount are going away. In the future Cling-Mount will be the only option. Below is the list of stamps that are carrying over, i.e. changing from Clear or Wood to Cling. Click to download, or right click to save to your computer.


Stamps that are carrying over MAY change to Cling before June 4th if current inventory is depleted.

Next up, Retiring items.



Again these are PDF files. Click to download, Right Click to save to your computer, then open.

All retiring products are "while supplies last" as of right now!!

A few other notes. You will notice that the Big Shot and the Stampin' Trimmer are on the list. Both are being reconfigured. There will be a new die cutting machine and a new trimmer, but not in time for the new catalog. Both should be available during the next catalog year, but dates have not yet been set for either. And there will be new dies and folders in the catalog that will work with old machines, but in a different way. There will be instructions :) This may be a bit bumpy for a while, but will be for the best in the long run!  Stampin' Up! is always striving to give us the newest in innovation!

NOTE: dies and embossing folders included on the retiring list will NOT be offered in the new catalog. Dies and folders not listed on the list will be included in the new catalog and will transition to the new-style when old-style inventory depletes.

Please contact me with any questions! I'm finding a highlighter and sitting down with catalogs to see what I'm losing! Always sad, but unfortunately necessary to get new and better products!!
