Blended Simply Succulents

Hello all! Glad to be back and sorry to be away so long. Life continues to get in the way of my stamping!

Here is my first creation with the Simply Succulents set and coordinating die set, Potted Succulents. Hint: these are available in the current Mini Catalog as a *BUNDLE* (10% off!!) They carry over to the new catty, but *NOT* as a bundle. If you like them, get them BEFORE the end of June and save a few bucks!!

Inspired by a post that Stampin' Up! shared a while back on their Facebook Page.  * I can't figure out how to link it directly, but click the page link and scroll down to April 13. Who knows, you might find something else inspiring along the way :) Some days technology is a challenge!!

In the Mini, page 39 shows the Stamp Set and Dies. Again technology is failing me and I can't get a link to work to my store. Check the products below, maybe?  The key here is the large background "element" from the die set. Cut one out to use as a mask. Once you get it all punched out (another hint: use the Take Your Pick took and Die Brush Tip) adhere a light adhesive to secure over the piece of cardstock you want to color. Grab your Blending Brushes and 3 colors. I got lucky here, first try and I love the results! Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Mint Macron. Purple is always the right answer!! 💜 So, just to quickly clarify. You want to put the die cut OVER the cardstock that will be your card. Brush ink OVER the diecut. Remove the diecut and trim the cardstock as necessary. Then embellish it!

I stamped several succulent images and then die cut those, the tag element and several other elements. Check out that new ribbon - awesome!! Highland Heather 1/2" Grosgrain coming in the NEW Annual Catalog! I colored the succulents with the same colors of Stampin' Blend. Attach to the card base with dimensionals and glue dots and done!!
