Hey, all - Happy Saturday! I'm off and running with a big to do list today, but first a card to share! Not at all what I started out to do, but it works and I quite like it!!
I was playing with a different (new catalog) set, but couldn't get what I wanted to work. Long story and maybe more later. I had in mind to do the "block stamping" where you ink the clear block and use that for a background. Lots of the colors I tried were not working (too dark) but then I thought of this light pink - Petal Pink. I don't use it alot and I don't know why because I always love it when I do! It was perfect for this. I inked the block and stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla that I then cut out. Over that I stamped a dragonfly from Dragonfly Garden in Soft Suede and added the friend saying at the bottom. I put some Stella on the wings and attached the image with dimensionals over the Petal Pink ribbon. Card background Very Vanilla, accent of Soft Suede and base of Petal Pink.
