Hey all, wanted to share a few things this week made with retiring sets. Unfortunately, I didn't check the gone list first - so sorry! Winter Woods is gone, Buffalo Check still available when I last looked. Miss the old days when stamps did not sell out :(
But I like how the card came out so I'm sharing it anyway. Didn't start my day off on the best note but I'm getting over it. And there is a wine tasting in my immediate future so all is good :)
I went through my stack of retiring stamps and decided to try the Christmas tree from Winter Woods with the Buffalo check background. Not too bad! Card base is Mossy Meadow, accent of Gray Granite. Basic White background stamped with Gray Granite Buffalo Check. I stamped the tree with Mossy Meadow and cut with the coordinating die. I then cut a Basic White Stitched Rectangle to layer behind the tree for accent. I attached the rectangle over the Gray Granite ribbon with regular adhesive. The tree is attached to the rectangle with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I accented the tree with Stella and added the saying at the bottom in Mossy Meadow. Easy Peasy! Hopefully it is still some inspiration.
