Another inspiration from the challenge over at Stampin' Celebration. Look at their inspiration piece and you'll see why I HAD to play along!!
Sunflowers!! Here is what I came up with.
I started with my Daisies #2 Bigshot die and cut several different colors: Daffodil Delight, More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler. I knew I wanted more than one flower, and thought layering them together might work. I love a mix of colors too in my sunflowers and this is a good variety! I chose these colors based on the sunflowers I grow each summer. So, I layered together two of the medium size, then put two of the smaller of a different color, then an Antique Brad for the center. Card base is Early Espresso with a background of Naturals Ivory stamped with the Wonderfully Worn background. Espresso striped ribbon across the bottom with the "favorite" definition from Define Your Life, punched with the Wide Oval and layered on the new Decorative Label punch.
Off to do something productive! Think that yard work is calling my name, need to do some Fall clean up. Luckily it looks nice out and hopefully isn't too warm! Thanks for stopping by!!
