French Foliage Thanksgiving

I should be planning & prepping card for club tomorrow, but needed a little creative jump start so I took a little time to play! The Paper Players have a great color challenge this week (More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive & Early Espresso), and my card also works for the new SU!-Only Challenge, Fall.

Here is what I came up with, again using my "go to" Fall set this year, French Foliage.

Card base is Early Espresso. Background is Very Vanilla that was stamped with leave in Cajun Craze, Old Olive & Early Espresso. Then I used More Mustard to add the "splatter" image from the set- it fills in all the blank spaces! The background edge was sponged with Early Espresso. An Early Espresso satin ribbon is knotted around and under the saying. I used the new Scallop Squares Duo die to cut an Early Espresso square, layered on a Very Vanilla square. I then grabbed a clear block (C I think) and inked it with More Mustard. Over that I stamped the "Sending Thanksgiving Wishes..." from the Seasonal Sentiments set in Early Espresso. Lastly, I added a Cajun Craze leaf.  The Scallop Square is attached with dimensionals so it sits up over the ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!
